How Did I Miss A Buddy Heater?

I had heard about a "Buddy Heater" by Mr. Heater for a long time, but somehow I had never used one or even been around one. I must really lead a sheltered life, LOL. After Hurricane Helene devastated our area (we were already prepared pretty good!), we realized we needed to be a bit better prepped for a winter prolonged off-grid situation since we live in a windy area in the mountains that can and does get snowstorms and winter storms. Hence we got a Mr. Heater "Buddy" heater as a small backup. I started using it with the small 1lb propane bottles just to warm up my shop area a bit and quickly realized this was not cost-effective. Hence we bought the filter and adapter hose to connect to a 20lb tank (could go a bit larger and probably will). Come along as I install this adapter and filter and test run the Mr Buddy heater on a larger tank.
