That drive was being labeled as one of the best of all time (which it was). Leclerc's performance this season was one of a world champ. Though the car was competitive in 2022, the car and the team were wildly unpredictable and he was making critical errors. 2023 still showed some of that, although he was driving like a beast toward the end of that season. This year he really hit his stride, and winning three races in the net third fastest car is also a huge confidence boost. If Ferrari can build a car that can truly contend next year, we may see the King of Monaco become World Champ.

i think kimi raikkonen at mugello 2020 may have been better, as he wasn't benefiting from the misfortune of others as much as charles. still a great recovery drive anyway edit: based on responses, i think portimao is the race i was referring to
@Vishnu-BАй бұрын
And Kimi didnt have a superior car compared to the 2nd half of the grid, like charles had here.
@jonathanking8429Ай бұрын
That was just pure magic from Kimi, I remember that start👌 edit: think it was Portugal not Mugello
@pyy9316Ай бұрын
Definitely better, as Kimi was in Alfa and Charles was in Ferrari

I think he got a bit lucky with all those incidents... His good reactions and awareness helped him achieve this feat... Not Ferrari but atleast Charles deserved the title😢❤❤

Leclerc really deserves a championship with his driving, if only rari stopped sht itself he’ll get it
@DeiKuromuАй бұрын
That was mental. The last time I watched something similar was Raikkonen and Giovinazzi in Portugal 2020
