Lin Dan short on stamina in that match was due to the thick schedule of tournament he played prior to this asian championship. I was following a lot of news on badminton around that time. That's really much what LCW said in the interview after that match too.

uh, lindan already skipped plenty of tournaments hello. Lee was the one who attended almost every of them back then. The king of super series is not a blind nickname. Lin always skipped tournaments for big games.

Well, enough of stupid comments from you guys. I was just stating the fact to why LD got tired, not saying that he could have won this match or not, but you guys already got so offended. From April 5th 2016 to the end of this asia championship, LD played 4 tournaments in a row, Malaysia Open, Singapore Open, China Masters and this tournament in 4 weeks. Even Axelsen now can't play more than 3 tournaments in a row. LCW only played Malaysia Open and this tournament. LCW even praised LD the the post-match interview for being able to compete with that schedule. Guess it's my benefit of following badminton for so long. Peace!

zaman kemuncak Chong Wei...tapi Chong Wei bukanlah legend dunia yang sebenar sebab dia tak pernah menang pingat emas Olimpik dan tak pernah menang Kejohanan Dunia.... He has to play Chinese players at the highest level. He became mentally weak due to this. It's like in tennis no player can beat the big three in a row or two of them. I think one player did but that was long ago. That's why LCW never won big titles even after beating LD. In WC, I think in 2011 he lost despite having the match point because playing at such a high level he couldn't maintain it. That's why he never won big titles.

❤❤❤For once Lee was wearing the dominant RED or SCARLET while Lin Dan who usually wear red, was not doing so and lost. Even Steven Hawkins realised that in sports where the contestants face each other directly the one who wears RED has a slight advantage. This is just plain psychology...red means anger, rage, dominance and peak performace to tear the opponent apart and it frightens the hell out of your opponent. In games like badminton, since red only gives a slight advantage, it will not make any difference in the preliminary rounds as the best are pitched against the worst. But in the finals when the difference between the contestants are razor thin, a slight advantage can mean a victory or loss!

Fun fact : This wasn't a match fixing..... but was a strategy by China to lose to Lee Chong Wei.... So that Lee becomes overconfident in the olympics 3 months later...... but it didn't go as planned 💀🐐
