Hope you all enjoyed, if anyone is looking at this laptop and has any questions, leave a comment! I will be getting back to everyone! 🙏🏻 FOR QUESTIONS ABOUT FANS/OVERHEATING... PLEASE READ: Okay so I have been getting loads of comments asking about the fans and overheating so I am just going to say a few words on that here. Genuinely, until people started asking me, I never even noticed this as an issue. Since I have been aware of it, the fans can get a little bit noisy from time to time but honestly it was so little of an issue that it didn't give me any cause for concern. Same goes for the overheating, it does get warm occasionally, but no more than any other laptop I have had in the past. I have NOT tried this laptop connected to an external monitor so cannot help on that front but genuinely it surprised me hearing that so many people were having a problem with these things, they are not something that I ever noticed myself. I guess what I am trying to say is people online can blow issues out of proportion, but if you're a regular laptop user (like myself), then its probably not even something you will ever notice. Cheers, Mike

1:00 - Just FYI, the MBP 16" is actually smaller in every direction and lighter than the 2014 MBP 15".

Fantastic review Mike! MacBook Pro 16 is on sale at a few places at the moment and I am considering this for my semipro, part time music production. My desk top I use is always in the same place, which is not the best for my overall work flow, thus a Mac would be great. Also brilliant to hear a local review, many thanks from the WIRRAL...

Thank you much appreciated! It really is a great computer, its been absolutely perfect for working out and about, or if I'm stopping overnight somewhere. It is genuinely faster than any desktop I own! Wow you are local, great to see I've got some local viewers! haha

Have you experienced noisy fans when connected to external display?
@TehHaffsTuts4 жыл бұрын
not myself, however I rarely use an external display due to the decent sized screen so I am probably not the best person to ask!

Great review! What camera bag do you use? Struggling to find one that will hold this laptop as well

I actually have nothing fancy, just one of the Amazon basics camera bags. I would definitely like something more substantial but just never felt the need to upgrade up to now. Maybe soon!

Do you think that iPad Pro 2020 can also be a good "computer" for creating videos? Probably Lumafusion on iPad is good.
@TehHaffsTuts4 жыл бұрын
Definitely man, I think that the iPad can be a great mobile video editing tool. I love the idea of being able to edit and share all on the one device and while I haven't got an iPad myself, I believe Lumafusion is a very solid app. As these apps continue to be developed and are getting better, I think it the iPad itself is only going to get better as an option! 👌🏻

Hi Mike, I like to include lots of jumpcut editing and loud background music tracks in my videos. Do you think that this 'life saver' would meet my needs?

@TehHaffsTuts4 жыл бұрын
Not sure what you mean about ghosting screen! Not experienced anything like that myself, I have also never noticed the fan being noisy, sure it kicks in every so often but its no more than I have experienced before. Also nothing wrong with the touch bar I just dont use it too often! haha

Is there any heating issue and how about the fan noise?
@TehHaffsTuts4 жыл бұрын
I have never noticed any heating issues, and I am getting loads of questions about the fans but honestly my dude it was something that I never noticed. Everything seems fine to me, that being said I have never plugged into an external monitor so could not tell you how the laptop performs alongside that.

Thanks for the video. I just got one exactly like yours. I am having an annoying problem when I connect it to an external monitor. It starts heating way too much, even when doing simple tasks like cheking email. Do you have a similar problem? Or maybe it is just mine?
@TehHaffsTuts4 жыл бұрын
Hello buddy, I personally don’t use an external monitor but I have seen a couple of other people comment saying the same thing so I do not think you’re alone there. I have only quite recently noticed mine does get quite hot and noisy when I’m working on my editing in general so I would say it’s a general problem.

Dear Mike, I plan to buy this 16 MBP, and I am in the process of buying this machine. I have one question about upgrading. As the filmmaker, why don't you use i9 and GPU 5500 8 GB? I saw so many youtuber encourage to upgrading to i9 and GPU 5500 8GB
@TehHaffsTuts4 жыл бұрын
Hi Gumporn, honestly it was just the money for me! I did not want to spend more than I already was on the laptop. The i7 was more than fast enough for what I was doing, and honestly, its been perfect so far, no performance issues at all! It is easy to get really into the finer details on these things, but the proof is in the pudding and this has been lightening fast! Hope this helps mate!
@gumpornwillsupasettaysa86834 жыл бұрын
Thank you, mike. I appreciated your response.it is very sincere. Sometimes, I do not know whether it is just the commercial thing or just the real experience of the KZbinr that I watched

The 16 inch MBP has a great screen, great speakers, great mic, great keyboard, shitty camera, and oh my god the fans!!! I’m considering selling mine because recording audio you have to throw it into another room… sounds like a darn turbine!

How long does your battery last bro?
@TehHaffsTuts4 жыл бұрын
Lasts pretty well, all day if I’m not video editing... but if I’m using Final Cut Pro, I’ll probably get around 3 hours out of it depending on what I’m doing... for editing though I’d recommend keeping it plugged in where possible. 🙏🏻
@part49634 жыл бұрын
@@TehHaffsTuts I am gettin around 7-8 hours while at 75% brightness and watching videos and livestreams using both chrome and safari and other apps like, discord, WhatsApp. Is this normal? and at what brightness are you getting 3 hours with FCPX?

And what do you think on new M1 macbook 13 inch? dose it effective for me in the basics of large screen while photo editing, work flow of adobe software, and other
@TehHaffsTuts4 жыл бұрын
@@devisladla Hmm there are a few different factors, the main one for me is for video editing on the go I like having the extra screen space. I rarely use an external monitor so also the extra real estate is great. If youre more using it for photo editing then you will for sure be fine with the 13 inch model. All boils down to preference mate

The money your paying is worth every penny. Your buying two computers in one machine. Only computer in the Universe that boots up two Operating System (MacOS-Windows10). When ARM comes that’s another story then you shouldn’t spend that much because you can get RAZER laptop with the same aesthetic single boot OS operation for less money.
