I love eating metha paan.... They don't add tobacco or supari in it. That's better since it dosen't leave any residue and we don't have to spit it out. One more thing ,Paan is not just used for eating purpose, it is also used in puja. Pooja cannot be completed without paan . It has a huge significance in our culture

It is mentioned in Skanda Purana, Mahabharata and Kama Sutra. Doesn't Islam prohibit the usage/consumption of things mentioned in religious texts of people of other faiths? Genuine question. P.S. The practice of chewing paan was prevalent in ancient India, and it was considered a sacred offering in Hindu and Buddhist traditions. While Persia (modern-day Iran) did have cultural and trade exchanges with India, there is no clear evidence that the practice of eating paan originated in Persia and then came to India. Instead, it is believed that paan was introduced to the Middle East and Southeast Asia through Indian trade and cultural exchange. I love eating Paan but that without supari and gutka. That's the pan which is called as delicacy in my opinion. They tastes great, freshen your mood and your mouth. I don't like pan with gutka and supari and I never tried, as they are not healthy for ourselves and also leads to spiting.

Pan kab ban hoga varanasi mai, ye pan wale Apna mu to Ganda karte hi hai, sare desh ki diwaron pe dalidrata felate hai. Kitne bhi safai karo ye pan ghuta aur kahin bhi thuk dena aur kahin rapper cigarette Bedi phek dene ka culture khatam karo by law. Modi ji needs to speak on this and take big action on this.
