Your client must be thrilled, from red, sore looking dry nails to beautifully healthy nails & 4-5 weeks is really no time at all.

I’m trying so hard getting out of my biting habit. I’m 13, but I was so much worse when I was even younger. I would bite all the skin around my nails, even up into my finger. I started painting my nails a lot with nail polish, and eventually my mom let me get shellac. I let it grow for like a month. When I got to take it off, my nails were as long to the tip of my finger. But of course I didn’t notice how far I got, I bit them! When I got a bit older, we bought our own shellac kit, and I started doing my nails with that. Now I was introduced to harsh files and peeling off my fresh gel, I also did fake nails. My nails were severely overfiled. Fast forward a year, I really wanted to give my nails a chance because I didn’t want to have fake nails nonstop to cover them up, and my nails would always get worse. Now I’m here, I haven’t bitten them for two weeks and they’re SO long. I’m so proud of myself. Thank you❤️

I swear, I’m going to drive you crazy until I watch every single one of your videos 🤣 I love these before & after videos so much! What a fabulous result in only 4 weeks!!! Honestly, anyone who’s bitten their nails or had the terrible habit of cutting proximal nail folds and picking the skin around the fingers knows what a huge accomplished, noticeable improvement this truly is! It’s really amazing how our bodies can heal itself if we just encourage it with the right treatments and products to help it along! Thank you so much for the generosity in sharing your wealth of knowledge! It’s really priceless! ♥️

This is a really good progress! I used to pick and bite the skin around my nails so I decided to replace picking with applying cuticle oil. Each time I felt the urge to pick - I applied an oil. I had it in my pencil case, in my everyday bag, everywhere I go😆I don't bite my nails anymore and I'm satisfied with their health and look

I stopped picking the skin around my nails thanks to you! My nails will never be what I would like them to be but they look healthy and feel so much better....all of the creams, lotions and oils have helped so much too. I do occasionally pick but I catch myself and stop. The info you provide on this channel is fabulous...!

There is so much improvement...I appreciate all you have shared with us...I am still struggling with some issues but overall my nails have greatly improved... I use oils and cream but I am still trying to overcome dryness of the pnf...and the skin on the side of my nails...so I am going to add the kerasal to my routine...I find that if the side skin on my nails are peeling...it's hard to resist picking...

I have spent my entire life (50+yrs) biting & picking my nails. In 2020 I battled breast cancer (double mastectomy, chemo, radiation, etc). In the summer of 2021 I actually quit damaging my nails without even realizing it!! My nail beds were almost non existent. In August 2023 it will be my two year anniversary of stopping. My nail beds are beautiful! My cuticles, well it’s a constant workout as I have severely dry skin in my hands since my cancer treatments. But it takes time and the nail beds actually grew out with the nails, the nails have been getting stronger as well over the past two years. I think I do my nails every morning, and sometimes even in the evening. I massage my nails with cuticle oil; someone once told me that if you massage your nail beds it helps them to get stronger and grow. Don’t know if it’s true or not, but I think it’s helped mine out. I gently file my nails with only crystal files, and use the crystal cuticle pushers daily. I do not use any sharp instruments near my nails and even threw out the nail clippers!! Don’t need to even tempt fate with my nail addiction. It’s a constant battle in my brain, and find when I am stressed or anxious I pull out the crystal file and gently work on my nails. And at the very least just oil & massage your nails. It becomes kind of like a calming therapy to just take the time to rub the nail beds. Long story short, be kind to yourself and give yourself and your nails the time to heal & grow! You’ll notice the difference! You got this and keep the fight to regain your control over the habit. And treat yourself when you can to a new polish or two! And your nail tools are worth it as you are worth it!!! Happy polishing!!! ❤💅🏻

The method I used to quit gnawing on my nails all the time was old-fashioned, not nice, but effective: Every time I caught myself chewing at a nail, I'd yank it away and smack that hsnd HARD. Enough to sting and hurt. It didn't take too many of those hand smacks to make me associate nail chewing with PAIN. So it worked, but maybe isn't the healthiest of methods to go about not chewing on nails. But I'm an old raised by a grandmother who had raised 7 boys in the first half of the 1900s. That method would work on someone like me.

I use to bite my nails when I was younger. I stopped biting my nails in my 20’s but started picking the skin around my nails. I bought cotton white gloves to wear but of course they are not practical. Recently my thumb nail split. I cut my nails shorter and filed them. I put a clear polish on them trying to help the thumb nail. I have ridges in my thumb nails. I do buff them to get the ridge out but it always grows back with ridges. What can I do to stop picking the skin around my nails. Please help me, thank you.

@@TheSalonLife I have horizontal ridges on both my thumbs and index finger. I was told it's from the cheap acrylic nails I had used back in the day. the nails grow with my horizontal ridges. I can't wear light colors and it's barely noticeable. Would love to hear your opinon about the horizontal ridges. thank you!
