Is that even canon? I'm not certain. They also showed how Tails met Sonic again in Sonic X, but it was a completely different scenario. So I'm thinking since Sonic X was originally made with SEGA over in Japan, and since AoStH was made in America solely for American children, I'd think that Sonic X is more likely to be canon than AoStH Oh yeah, I almost forgot, the Sonic Movie 2 is in development too, and it looks like Tails hadn't met Sonic yet in the first movie, so they're likely going to screw with the canon even more in that movie which makes things even more confusing
