I'm so glad our neighbors leave us alone. We have a fence around our 6 acres. No trespassing signs posted. Trees separating us from them. They leave us alone, and we leave them alone.

A good fence makes the best neighbor

I wish I could fence off my house from the rest of the world 😜 there is only one thing worse than a bad neighbour and that is a good neighbour that won't take the hint that you don't want them to come round whenever they feel like it thinking they are doing you a favour 😜

the kook eating their flowers was actually kinda sweet. Just an oddball dude with some strange tastes in food, likely the frugal type (Like myself, so I relate a bit). I'd like to just pick fruit with him and talk about life experiences.

oh the exploding neighbor is just such a genuinly sweet dude, I feel so bad for him. A good man through and through. He nearly gets blown to pieces, and he's apologizing to someone who helped save his home.

My neighbors are raving narcissists and most likely have more than one mental illness. My sister gave their daughter candy from the school bus floor. Neighbor then started spreading rumors that we are crazy and other stuff that is NSFW. A month later they cut down a 20 year old birch tree that was very clearly on our side of the property. He sprayed a line in the dirt that put 1 of the 3 trunks over the line and claimed it was his property line. It was a full 8 feet away from the real property line. A year passed and he cut 7 feet off the privacy trees that divided ours and his property. Time passed and he planted some bushes in the gravel where the birch tree once stood. The removal of the tree had destroyed the soil and had required us to re-mulch the area every few months. The bushes died and he blamed it on us. When he couldn't sue, he placed security cameras not even pointed at the bushes but at our back windows. We couldn't do anything. So we put up a privacy fence on the property line. He huffed and puffed but couldn't do anything. We are yet to see his next move.

I use have neighbour a few streets ftom me. He use to have this big american made car and he would drive it almost every day. This was in Trinidad and most cars were either Japanese or European and his car, i think it was a chevy, stood out. One day he got it cleaned up, drove it into town , parked it on the main street... and set it on fire.

Wildest thing that happened in my neighborhood was either me getting raided by the FBI or the neighbor accross the street getting raided by the DEA, or maybe when the swat team came for me

My crazy neighbor is the guy that puts his house for sale at least once a year because him and the girl he’s dating got into a fight. He also likes to rev his car up in the middle of the night during the week and do burn outs on the busy road next to his house. Then he has the greatest friends one stabbed him, one beat another guy nearly to death, and the other one I know of is a woman beater.

My crazy neighbor who we also call crazy lady, was a very good friend of mine. We used to do everything together. Until she literally lost her mind after her dad passed away. We tried to love her through it but she was doing things like letting herself into her house in the middle of the night when we were sleeping, spreading rumors to our neighbors that we were getting a divorce, telling our neighbors that I kidnapped her cat and was keeping it in a cage in my attic, letting herself into our house while we weren't home, tried to run me off the road when I was on my way home from work. It goes on and on and on. We finally had to file a restraining order against her. She and her husband and kids still live three houses down. Her husband never believed anything we told him even with proof and other neighbors telling him what they caught her doing or were told by her. But you never see any of them. The kids never go outside to play. This happened 9 years ago.

My neighbors were really nice at one point but then another neighbor called spca on them (not my family) and they Automatically Assumed it was us they did Harasses for a time but we reported everything and have pictures 1 day our basement was flooded. And the fire company had to come without and drain the water. It was just water. And blew over into the neighbor's yard and the neighbors decided to take pictures instead of Mining Naruto business. Apparently the fire company knew about them and just said if they have a problem to call this number and they'll take it with. Then a little one search screaming.Every time my child being two or three at the time start screaming Because her mother told her to Do it They do harass my parents from time to time. But as of now they stay away from us and don't bother us. There's a lot more.

I had a neighbor who HAD to be mentally ill and was likely "self-medicating" with street drugs. He started out just painting his car in the driveway with coats and coats of DIFFERENT house paint colors, throwing random garbage over the fence so he could knock on our door and ask for access to our back yard (we didn't have a gate, the back door was the only entry to our yard), and having random people knocking on his garage door all hours of the night. Annoying but bearable. Then he started banging and playing music and having violent arguments with his friends and anyone else who came near his property, etc. The police were called on him or by him constantly. Then he went totally off house rocker! Called the police to say I let his wife and her lover use my garage to have sex (he could hear it through the wall between his garage and mine supposedly) and the guy across the street was holding his wife against her will in his car trunk, and the other neighbor was beating the crap out of his wife and she was screaming for his help (she had left him several months before that). Then he'd call the cops because he heard Julie in the attic (the only way into the "attic space" was through a ceiling tile in his garage, there were no windows up there and no ladder or furniture high enough to be able to even see inside the attic let alone climb up there or shove a grown adult up into it). He started fist fights with neighbors and his visitors regularly and peed in the neighbor's flowers because "they disrespected me". He had two kids and beat up his wife, mom, and baby momma in front of the kids. But he didn't leave marks, and they almost never reported it and never pressed charges. His mom had a stroke and went to the hospital. He told his kids and all the neighbors that she'd died. His baby momma said she was in a nursing home but his brother refused to let anyone associated with him contact her. His electricity got shut off and his tub had poop water flowing into it every time they flushed the toilet, but he refused to even let his baby momma take the kids to her house for a shower or visit. Even though she had joint custody of the boy and weekends with their daughter. His kids weren't allowed to associate with any of the neighborhood people for fear that their dad would cause trouble. He had a no-trespass order at their school and bus stop - he had to wait across the street for his kids or have someone else go get them from the bus, and the principal actually drove them to the curb by my driveway when they missed the bus or came home early and he had nobody on the list to send to the school to pick them up. At one point he was banging on the other neighbor's door and threatening to poison their dog if it came on his lawn one more time (they always had the dog on a leash and walked to the other side of the street to pass his house but he swore up and down their mutt was scratching up his car and shitting on his porch and attacking his kids). He was regularly out in his back yard screaming at people that weren't there, banging on doors asking for help finding his wife at 2-3am, and having random cars honk in front of his house twice a night and then he'd go lean on the window and talk to them for a couple of minutes and they'd drive away. He never washed his kids' clothes or took them anywhere besides the bus stop or occasionally the liquor store, and he wouldn't let his baby momma or his brother take any of their clothes or bedding away from his house because "y'all are trying to steal my kids". The crazy thing is that CPS and the sheriff's department came around constantly but he was never arrested and CPS told his baby momma and his brother that he was "providing the minimum of care necessary to keep the authorities from removing the children".
