In the Edo era, Ninja clothes were made with lots of pockets to store many weapons, such as suriken, kunai, cat's claws, kusari gama, iron sticks that could be used as spears, as well as bamboo arrows, and smoke bombs, poison, and wound healing medicines made from herbal plants. ninjas must have all of this ❤❤❤❤

My Sensei demonstrate a restraining technique on me using the Sageo from his Katana. He basically tied both my arms and legs pointing up from behind then grabbed my hair and did the same so my head was pointing up. It was really an uncomfortable position to be in.

@@onigawara8850 Maybe you need look for some Kendo school, learn iai-do or look for a koryu like Tenshin Shoden Katori Shinto Ryu, if you want learn use of old weapons...in a book you not found all you need for develop a good technique.

That is aesy to answer: like you see here, the "shinobi no mono" learn bujutsu, and the use of shurikenjutsu is part of the kenjutsu techniques of the bushi.

The first mission of a ninja was spying ang bringing information by stealth to the Shogun. Fighting was if there was no choice. The army was the Samourais. They were both trained to the old deadly japanese ju-jutsu styles. However, ninjas, used more weapons for their special missions.

his technique seems rather poor, not sure if he is doing this on purpose, or if that is actually his level of skill. He moves very stiffly, and not fluidly, every other kenjutsu video I have seen they do not move like this.

In my mind, it's kinda harsh to compare his handling of swords with a Kendoka, learning Ninjutsu involves a lot more than just martial arts. Besides, you rarely see a Kendoka use katana with correspondence to its sheath.
