Okay three things here: 1) Gardening is an amazing hobby and I would recommend it for anyone. You learn so much about nature and biology in a fun way, it is very therapeutic for the soul and body, you get to spend time in nature, and you reap amazing homegrown food! V rewarding. I would totally watch a Lush Life gardening channel. I mean... Lushious Veggies... come on now. 2) I grew up in Oklahoma so it is hilarious to me to see everyone learning about Joe Exotic now when I've known about his antics ever since I was a baby pretty much. My school even went on field trips to his "safari" a few times. He's a piece of shit (all of these big cat people seem to be in some way), but he was also a very nice guy to the kids and we did learn a lot on our field trips. 3) ROLLERBLADING AND ROLLERSKATING IS V MUCH STILL A THING. I'm a roller derby girl, but also skate for fun. I live in a small college town in Minnesota and people of all ages have taken up rollerskating and rollerblading. We have a lake in the middle of town with a track around it and there are so many people skating around it at any point during the day. I've also seen more and more people skating around town in groups and it is adorable. That is all I've got - just my two cents.

I was riding my motorcycle in the small town where I grew up. And it was before the town got their 2 street lights. I had a big truck pulling a 5th wheel camper (so one of the bigger campers) pulled out in front of me. I thought for sure I was going to hit it. Because I had been following a car that slowed down really slow, like slower than they really needed. To turn into a parking lot. So I accelerated fast past him. Went from fast to slamming both my breaks. Luckily, right before I hit the camper, I had skidded my bike almost parallel to the camper and was able to ride around the back of the camper. Was quite the puckering situation.

That motorcycle one is underrated. They both acted like adults and decent people. Reminds me of the one if the guy littering and getting yelled at and they end up apologizing to each other and admitting fault. If more then a fraction of people acted like that the world would be a better place. Chances are that was in Vermont or Canada. Maybe the Midwest, i hear they are also very polite. The handshake, the way the guy on the bike admitted he was going too fast instead of just blaming the car driver like 90% of bikers do. Great stuff.

One time I nearly took out a bike and he slapped my mirror so I stopped and jumped oput at the the lights, he came up ready to kick my ass and I apologised then asked him how I could drive better as I did check my mirror, he explained a strat of looking deep in the lane for bikes. Such an awesome guy. So glad I had the chance to speak to him. He'd been hit 3 times previously and he was like, "mate I'll take the hundreds of thousands in compensation and you'll be fucked", to which I replied, "I just want to make sure it doesn't happen again". It was nice to be able to tell someone who'd been hit multiple times that he'd taught me how to be safer. Bless that man.

I'm #TeamLeon when it comes to the bedtime/sleep schedule discussion. Mrs. Lush says "we've all heard it before" and I felt that one in the cockles of my heart because I have the same sleep schedule as Ol' Le-bro, and as a nurse, Mrs. Lush should know sleep schedule is a product of your GENES, homie! Whether you're a morning person or a dope-ass night owl is determined by your DNA. Sure, you can work really hard to go against your natural sleep schedule, but it's very difficult and potentially very unhealthy if it means you're lacking sleep! Skipping sleep is literally the number-one worst thing you can do to your body, shy of like, doing meth. Everyone out there likes to remind others to stay hydrated, but getting enough sleep is probably actually 1000x more important.
