The weigh-ins are compulsory on both days of the event. If you miss either of them, you get disqualified. That's it. She was 49.9 kg during the weigh-in before her yesterday's bouts. So she was allowed to compete and those bout results remain valid. As she failed in her today's weigh-in, she got disqualified and all those who lost to her were elevated by one position.

No no no. You are not getting the point. She competes in 53 kg in normal situations. But this time she went for 50 kg cetegory. If not 53, she should have gone to 55kg. Like all previous Olympics, all fights used to happen on same day. This time for the final game, there was one extra. It means every fight for gold medal, a wrestler needs to do weigh in twice in two dufffent days. So she did cut weight yesterday. In this time they do not drink even water forget about other hence after weight is over they eat and drink this makes them increase rapid weight. And hence, again they have to lose the weight. Beacuse she started her career 10 to 12 years back in 48 kg and now is 30 years around, so her weight category should be 53 to 55 and not 50. It’s a long ask. And coaches can’t tell to wrestler that go for 55 and all. So it’s fault of wrestler as much as other because she knows her body well and in her career she has missed weight twice before too

It was decided even before the Olympics began, because Antim qualified in 53kg and so she had to drop weight and participate in 50kg...where to be noted, she defeated the Japanese wrestler who was unbeaten since 84 bouts. After yesterday's bout, she had dinner, needed for energy and naturally weight increased. So she worked out all through the night but yet was 100gm overweight and dehydrated...poor soul

And 80 per cent of wrestlers do age fraud too so chances are they way older than what we think and it makes weight cut harder. I will tell a story of a national champion wrestler.
