I really enjoyed your trip across the Nullabor. And your drone footage of the cliff is breathtaking, some of the best I’ve seen. What a beautiful and diverse country we live in ❤️. Liam gets cuter every episode 😊

Great episode guys, the drone footage was 👌 had to laugh when Liam was on the swing at Eucla it was so squeaky and when we did the Nullarbor 3 yrs ago it was exactly the same, must not get oiled much 🤣

We did a very slow trip across the Nullarbor in 2019 but didn’t get a chance to see any sites. My brother rode his push bike from Optus stadium to Unley oval in Adelaide to raise awareness and money for mental health and my Dad and I were his support vehicles. Was cool seeing all these sites again! He got some speed up down the Madura pass! Haha. Will have to head back with the family one day though!
@Ourwhittleadventure2 жыл бұрын
Oh wow what an effort to ride that far. We saw a group doing that just outside of Balladonia. Atleast they had the best weather. Would definitely cop some speed down Madura. Hard work getting back up at Eucla

Hi Guys another awesome episode especially the drone footage at the cliffs free camp. I have a question how close in distance was your caravan away from the edge, it looked quiet close in the footage? Also how do you find your Ziegler Brown BBQ they have bought out a new model called The Nomad which has auto cut off of the gas if the flame goes out. I currently have a Webb Baby Q on a gas bayonet fitting on my caravan which is illegal. Stay safe and looking forward to the next episode. Cheers Peter

Hey mate, glad you enjoyed it. The caravan was probably 30m away from the cliffs edge. Some people park right on the edge but im not sure im comfortable with that. Our Ziggy is good, i really like cooking on it i have had a webber too and enjoyed that also, much of a muchness. I did see their nomad, i use a seperste gas bottle and regulator anyway so doesnt bother me much. Thanks for watching!

We hit the Nullarbor in a week, and for the first time ever we will finally have loads of time to explore! Just thought I’d mention that we called in to see friends who own a station north of Coober Pedy and they were using gyrocopters to do their mustering so maybe that’s what they were doing at Madura Pass 🤔
@Ourwhittleadventure2 жыл бұрын
Hmm maybe, they were quite high up i think it may have just been joy riding. Would be a cool place just was in middle of nowhere

Hey, thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it. For all weight related questions, honestly the best thing you can do is see a weight specialist, like a mobile weighing company. To me having never seen the car and caravan and not having any experience in either of those brands I couldn't even have a guess but with those numbers yes there is a very real possibility that you will be over weight. best to rectify it earlier then later. For UHF, the antenna will work better on the roof, but bull bar is fine it is how most of the population do it. for what you carry on the roof that is completely up to you and what weight you have spare, for me, my ladder, maxxtraxx, empty Jerry and small gas bottle. having a good safe spot for the dogs is important, having restraints on the back seat might work for your situation. for WA, its really up to you. 6-12 months would allow you to try and see each spot in the best weather, south of Carnarvon in Summer and north of Carnarvon in Winter. but in saying that you could do most of it in 3 months. Leonora is the only one that is right out of the way compared to the others. for things to see, your best bet is to have a look at our other videos or jump on to tourism WA and see what suits you. for us, beaches and free activities are what draw us to a place but there really is so much to see over in WA!

@@Ourwhittleadventure Thanks I’m currently looking at putting Fishing Rods and Max Trax on the Roof Rack on the Ford Territory and would both Fishing Rods and Max Trax both fit on the Roof Rack Cross Bars or would I have to get a pole carrier aswell for the Ford Territory and could you fit pool noddles in the pole carrier on the caravan and I think that I would put solar panels on the roof of the caravan, I Think that I Will Put the Awning on the drivers side so it doesn’t interfere with the Snorkel because the snorkel goes on the Passenger side because that’s the side the airbox is on and I Will Put the UHF on the Bullbar.
@Ourwhittleadventure2 жыл бұрын
Im not sure what would fit, will have to just try and see what works. Yes solar on roof of caravan for sure

@@Ourwhittleadventure I Just Did An Assessment and I have decided that I will be putting my Kayak and MaxTrax on the Roof Rack on the Ford Territory and I will be also bringing my Fishing Rods and Cricket Set with us on holiday and where should I put my Fishing Rods and Cricket set. Would you recommend a pole carrier to put on both the car and caravan or just the caravan to put my fishing rods and camping poles in. Should I Put my Cricket Set and Ladder in the Caravan and How Many KG of Dishes, Cutlery and Cups should I bring and how Many Sets of Clothes should I bring on holiday with Us. If I Was to Put a pole carrier on the Car would you recommend the Awning to Go on the drivers side so it doesn’t interfere with the snorkel since it goes on the passenger side on the Ford Territory because that is the side the air-box is on and the Pole Carrier on the Passenger Side and thanks for the chat today.

Sorry i don’t know beat way to transport fishing rods we don’t really fish. Yes put the awning on the other aide if its going to interfere, mine never did so it didnt matter. Regards to clothes, half of what you think. Cuttlery etc, 1 plate, 1 bowl, 1 mug, 1 fork, 1 knife and one spoon per person is all you really need. Its all about weight and space saving
