That gentleman who was late on the buzzer is a Russian Billionaire Igor Krutoy who created the talent show "I Am Super" for disadvantage kids who had very little to no parental care. He saw great potential in Diana and wanted to help so he bought them a house in Moscow and also paid for her vocal college after she won the talent show. Diana competed in and won both seasons of I Am Super and has pretty much won every singing talent shows she's been on. I highly suggest you guys research her back ground all the way to her birth. To me it's THE most inspirational story I've ever read. I will warn you as it most likely will bring you to tears.

I am a huge fan of the original Wicked game and Chris Isaak, i am not going to say that this was better but it definitely was not worst, for me this is the only cover of Wicked game on par with the original and i have heard all of them. This show is not the voice, it is a noble vocal competition that opens the doors for children with tough and difficult pasts. Diana was abused and abandoned injured by her biological mother and she ended up in an orphanage, that is why she was eligible for this show. Every child there has the chance to gain entry in prestigious music schools. Diana participated there twice once at the age of 14 and once next year were a super show was anounced, it gathered the previous seasons winners and best finalists to decide on who is the best of the best, Diana won both time by a land slide. Wicked game was the second song she performed on her second participation on the show, she never had a performance in both her participations where she did not get all 4 green buttons, she was perfection incarnate and all her songs there are masterpieces.

One of best performances on a talent/game show in Russian tv history. FYI, she won 2 consecutive years of this show You Are Super, the second was former winners and finalists from previous seasons. The man who hit the button late is Igor Krutoy, an INCREDIBLE musician and producer, one of the best in the Eastern Hemisphere, very famous guy (he's the one who came out of retirement in order to work with Dimash). Igor already knew about Diana's skills. He waited for a lul in the song before hitting the button because he was trying to be respectful. He knew what the crowd's reaction would be; he was trying to time it so that the song could be heard above the crowd cheering.

Warrp Reacts, if you or any subscribers didn’t know, Diana Ankudinova was only 15 years old for this performance of Wicked Game during a vocal competition for disadvantaged children and young teenagers who have spent a part of their childhood without parental care. This vocal competition was called “You Are Super” and took place on May 12, 2019. During this performance some reactors were saying they wondered if Diana Ankudinova was using Auto-Tune during this performance, or some other kind of electronic or mechanical vocal Manipulation. The general consensus of many other reactors, some recording sound engineers, and real vocal professionals, said no. NO auto-tune was added, nor any other form of electronic voice manipulation. What many may not know is this, Diana Ankudinova has learned, mastered, and uses a vocal technique known as polyphonic singing which is difficult to learn and do, and it is a testament to the time and dedication Diana has put into her career at such a young age. This is also an unusual and extraordinary accomplishment for someone this young. A singer that has mastered polyphonic singing can create an additional tone which adds to the harmonic overtones and it makes it sound like more than one voice singing that cause many individuals to mistakenly believe she is using Auto-Tune or some other form of electronic voice manipulation or pitch correction software when she is not. This performance was her second appearance on the talent show called “You Are Super”, here first appearance was in 2018. The 2019 season ended with Diana Ankudinova winning the “You Are Super” competition after her “Wicked Game” performance. As an aside, at 14 years old, In 2018, when she first appeared in the “You Are Super” vocal competition and performed a Russian folk song called “Rechenka” that she sung in her native Russian language. It was during this 2018 performance of Rechenka that many voice professionals started paying close attention to Diana Ankudinova because she was displaying such a low, rich, deep, resonant sound. The tone and timbre of her voice was way beyond her years in maturity. Diana Ankudinova was also displaying all the hallmarks of becoming a true contralto voice type, plus her musicality and stage presence was well beyond the ability of the vast majority of 14 year old girls. From the beginning of Diana's Rechenka performance, watch her face, and you can see in her body movements as she submerges herself into this character. It was no surprise when Diana was declared the 2018 “You Are Super” winner, but no one was prepared for the following year in 2019 for the sound she exhibited during her performance of Wicked Game that won her the 2019 “You Are Super” competition! There are other performances of Diana performing in vocal competitions, and in concerts. She also recorded some videos done in her home studio during the COVID pandemic lock down that are stripped down, without the major flash, fashion, or production value of her competitions or concerts. Ogre, an immense thank you for taking the time and effort to pronounce Diana's last name correctly. So many native English-speaking reactors don't even try. I really appreciate it when someone really listens to Diana saying her own name, and then actually says it correctly. I'm an American who has been a Diana fan since early 2017. I first saw her as a 13-year-old on that scandalous episode of The Voice-Kids-Russia, where she totally befuddled the judges (who were sitting with their backs to a phenomenal 13-year-old talent). That performance got so many views in Russia that the KZbin algorithm automatically pushed it out to the wider world. A year later, when she appeared on this "You are Super" program, millions of us non-Russians were primed to click on any KZbin video with "Diana Ankudinova" in the title.

Hello Alan. Yes, I think at the beginning Diana is kind of difficult for some people to listen to because her voice is so different from the general listening habits of most people, because Diana is really unique in the world. At least that's how it was for me. But after a few songs I got more used to the voice, to the special timbre and the richness of her voice and wanted to hear more and more from her. Now I've been listening to Diana literally every day for over 5 years. It's like a drug. I don't listen to much other artists anymore. Diana is very versatile and sings in very different genres and different languages. It never gets boring. Quite the opposite. And she is a particularly lovely person with a pure soul. This is very rare to find. And especially in show business. I recommend taking the time and trying out a few more Diana songs. Maybe Diana will catch you too. Greetings from Scotland! Yes, Diana learned to Yodel flawlessly at a very young age! The key here is that she was still 15yo here and at this point she had already been performing solo on stage for 9 years! 5 years further on, she's writing her own lyrics and music and playing her own instruments AND her vocal abilities have grown impressively too! Diana doesn't just sing, she creates worlds 🌍 🎶 ♥️ she has a normal voice for a girl, but she can sing rare female contralto using different vocal techniques, such as deepening the throat, yodeling, growling and etc. Thanks a lot for your reaction, like 👍

Diana is a world class yodeler.. you guys picked up on the yodel.. the last guy to buzz in we think did that at a time not to interrupt the song.. speaking of mesmerized and forgetting to hit the buzzer.. a year earlier when she was on this show... that happened to all 4 judges.. they were so mesmerized that when she got to a point at the end of the song they thought she was done and all 4 slammed their buttons to buzz in a the last second.. That would be a good one for you guys to check out because it might be her best "young" at age 14 and she does some yodeling.. song is called Rechenka which means Little River in Russian.. Thanks for another reaction to Diana lads. Ogre, you got her name down pretty well. The last judge to press, Igor Krutoy, was waiting for a break in the song so he wouldn't disturb the performance too much, with the sound of the buzzer - he was well aware of her capabilities! I think I saw that your next reaction to Diana is Rag'n'Bone Man's "Human" - looking forward to it, however, she is at her best when singing in Russian - the majority of her tracks on her channel have human translated English subtitles as do the show performances which Kwstas Vagias has collated on his channel.

What took Igor Krutoy so long to hit the buzzer is that he was waiting for a pause in the music to hit his button so as to not mess up the artist. Igor is a huge Russian music producer who actually was retired until he saw Dimash Kudaibergen perform. He came out of retirement to produce music for him.

It's good to know you will post more reactions to her work soon. No offense intended, but once every 10 weeks is not enough. We enjoy watching the astonished expressions. She garnered a lot of attention beginning when she was 14 with four performances on the "You're Super" talent show for children who had been without parental care. She won the contest and Igor Krutoy (the final judge to give approval for Wicked Game) gave her family an apartment in Moscow so she could study there. Then she was invited back the next year for three more performances when she was 15 to compete with prior winners and finalists. She won that contest also. Her standout performance when she was 14 was Rechenka (My Little River). It's a song about an orphan girl about to be given in marriage. She goes down to the river to commune with her deceased mother and ask for her blessing. When you hear her speak as the spirit of her mother, the goose bumps will show up. When she begins to cry out to her mother, the emotion is palpable. You can watch her BECOME the orphan bride as she performs the song. She has performed it many times since. One performance when she just turned 20 was recorded in a studio during a radio podcast, so the sound reproduction is very good. A reaction to both of these performances in one video would be quite revealing of her development over the past six years.
