14:10 awesome customer. You get a ton of "thank you"'s but not as many "great job"'s. This guy knew how much work it actually took to get that Jeep out. I'm sensing he also knows the danger involved. There's so much more than just hooking up and leaving. Angles, stresses on winch lines and stuff, brakes for Jefe's sake, things like that. There's truly a _ton_ of stuff to think about all at once, and all those things are constantly changing as you go. Great job guys

@@10laws2liveby a little scary for sure! But those winch lines are likely rated to have 3-5 jeeps hanging off of it I would think. When designing things like this with essentially a small crane, you need to put in a safety factor of at _least_ 2× but more is always fine. The wrecker was designed to pull damn near anything, so I would think (and hope) that he uses lines with a higher capacity than needed!

Google says a Bronco weighs 5300lbs and those winches are rated 12,000lbs. I wonder what the soft shackles are rated at, and I wonder what difference to weight all the mods Jefe has done to his car have made? The numbers tell us he was OK, but rather him than me!

@@TrevorDennis100that was not Jefe's Bronco. It was the customer's Jeep YJ. Stock they weigh between roughly 4000 and 5200 pounds. A 1/2" Yankum soft shackle has a recommended working load of 10,250-14,499 lbs and a max strength of 62,500 lbs. Even the smaller 7/16 one has a working load of 5,000-10,249 lbs and a max of 45,500. I suspect one winch line and one soft shackle could dead lift that Jeep all day.

Also, the Bronco wasn't "Stuck", it was just inconvenienced. Thinking back, I seem to recall it got out of the river spot that Matt accidently got all of his rigs stuck in due to a bit of overconfidence.

and bee/bug catcher. no need to ask how I know what comes in through them. I still have/drive a vehicle with wing windows, in which I never use them to scoop and force air in anymore. especially late at night back farmland roads, where I had the largest bugs ever known to man slam into me and a "bat" come in passenger side! yes, I always opened it to scoop in, and drivers side venting out, through light rain storms and more. I quit doing that after hitting a swarm of honey bees "once", if I was allergic it would have been game over. lol (northeastern Ohio)
