It’s absolutely true. For me, love is in the quiet moments where words are not necessary. When, for example, you can be in each other’s company just sitting quietly reading or whatever and you both look up at the same time and just smile. Or in the silly moments when you laugh together for little or no reason. It’s in the smile that lights up in my wife’s eyes. It was in the first time I told my (now) wife “I love you” accidentally on the telephone. It just sort of happened. After I hung up I kind of sat in shock for a few minutes thinking to myself “Shit! It’s true.”. We’ve been together ever since. Thank you for the beautiful videos that you make Thoraya. You are a beautiful soul. Best wishes from Scotland 🙏🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

@@ellenixie9024 hey i think it can change, for a long time i felt just like you, like if i ever trusted anyone with my problems i would be a burden, that i had to be strong to be loved. But a really hard experience, where i became very weak and dependent and where i could have died, showed me that i really can depend on my family, that they love me and care for me even in my worst moments, when i'm not able to give back anything. Now i'm starting to trust others, mostly my family, more with my problems and i seek out help even when i'm not already at my absolute limit, because i know that they actually want to help me, as i want to help them. And i learned that i am not a burden to them, as they aren't to me, even in difficult times.

You’ve clearly got some sort of magic in the way that you approach people, because everyone always seems so relaxed and comfortable when they’re in front of your camera! It’s incredible to see people smiling and giggling while answering a question from a stranger they just met on the street. I don’t know how you do it, but it’s absolutely fascinating and so incredible the way you just bring out the beauty in so many people and invite them to be their genuine selves, because that’s really when the most beauty is brought out in people. It’s not only beautiful to see people’s faces on camera the way you do, but it’s also beautiful what you do off camera because clearly you have a one-of-a-kind warmth that brings such a transparency to your videos. For me definition of love was my 5 year relationship earlier but when it faded, every relationship then after i went through felt like i was in confusion whether this is love or not. Its like he is doing everything according to him to make me happy n feel secure but am not able to feel tht kinda safety n peace which i used to feel before. I cannot differentiate whether this is my gutfeelings or m pretty anxious . Am just so fucked up n confused tht i sometimes ended being alone for days n weeks to love myself to just ran away from all those ppl who ask me about my love life or how i felt being in a relationship where i genuinely find no reason of staying bcz m internally broken into thousands of pieces from which each of them are asking whether love make u feel like this. Sometimes we need a reminder. That's okay. I lost my husband in September after 17 years together. Depending on how your brain works, it can be all too easy to focus on the bad things. I can't help but think I could've and should've done more to show my husband how much I loved him and wish I would've been more present with him when he was dealing with cancer. It sounds so cliche, but the happiest people are probably those who live in the moment because that's all we have. It took losing my husband to appreciate those mundane moments a lot more. What I would give for just one more chance to lay on the couch watching TV or go grocery shopping with him.

Heck he/she might be actually in love with you aswell but just has some issues he/she deals with like that. Talk Talk Talk. I think it' s different being in love than loving someone. Butterflies, not sleeping, being anxious feels like being in love. When you get to know that person, know their ups and downs, accept them, and feel calm and in peace in their compsny,, that's love. You love that person

I was avoiding dating for so long after losing a beloved person to suicide, I was really shutting down my emotions. Not wanting someone else to influence my decisions or take away freedom from me. The girl who said butterflies are no good indicator is so right, actually butterflies are more of a warning sign from the body, whereas calmness and peace are wonderful signs of a good match. I am slowly opening up again and really hope to find my peace too someday

I think I met my soul mate about 10 years ago. I haven't seen him for 6 years now, but I still feel grateful to have met him at some point in my life. I knew it was love because we laughed at things that people didn't even know could be laughable. Things were so easy, we could communicate so well. I'm living my life without him but I know he exists somewhere, and this makes me happy. I don't need more.

@@GregO0oo It works for women too, love is essentially teamwork. Not someone being the stressor and other being the quiet sponge of all negativity. Part of why many women are choosing to be single because many men are used to lashing out on and putting extra load of labour on women's heads as if a given. It pays to wait for the right one that lets you be soft and in return soothe him too, not some games, competition trying to outplay and fleece each other and brag to the rotten part of the world about it. Too many feel the need to piss in someone else's pool of tranquility, only doing "take, take, take" part without a "give" to balance it out and make it worth it. It is kind of sad how the trust needed for said peace is often missing and given more reason to be so.

I already knew my partner had self harmed in the past, but today I noticed a scar on him that was only a couple weeks old. We've been together for just over a month, so to know that he still does it was really, really painful to me. We had a conversation, and I could feel myself coming up with all of the correct things to say to him to comfort him (I'm just the type of person who never, ever says things right) and, just how strongly I felt the pain from him hurting himself made me realize just how much I truly love him.

That’s how my relationship started, I showed my boyfriend and had pictures in my phone which I used to stop myself if I thought about doing it, he deleted all of those photos and simply asked why, I explained, he listened and didn’t judge. From that day forward I was at his house everyday, he showed me life, got me in the gym, showed me how to positively channel my pain into building myself, everything healed (haven’t cut since that day), his family brought me closer to God and he’s still my favorite person. Just listen that’s all I can say.

The first couple is the love I desire and want to experience just once in this life but the last girl was a similar love I've received as well. I thought I knew what love was and how it felt but I learned that I don't. But now I've taken on a new perspective to give myself that love first so when I get that love, I won't push it away but accept it full on. I normally would cry when I see things like this but I had the biggest smile and heart was fully open. I hope everyone including that girl finds a love that brings them peace, tranquility, and friendship ❤❤

I would love to reach out to the girl at 11:30. I had a similar experience where I was deeply deeply infatuated with a guy. The whole time we were together he had a girl best friend who I was extremely jealous of, I changed myself to fit her image because I felt that was what he wanted. I started listening to different music, dressing differently, watching different shows, my whole identity changed. For two years we went back and forth, he would leave me for her and then he would come back telling me he had made a mistake. Then one day, after he had broken me down over and over, he told me that he was in a good place and that my mental health was dragging him down. A few weeks later i found out that he had told the best friend he was in love with her the whole time. It’s been about 5 years but I still find myself putting the pieces of who I was before him back together.

From my experience, I think we can't go back to the older version of ourselves before things happened. Definitely trauma will leave a mark. But we need to learn from that and move on with hope. And ofcourse, love ourselves (that's something I realised after going through so much, giving to people so much). Take all the time to heal. Not everyone can heal in certain amount of time. Also we feel that we have healed but then get triggered by something that brings all the pain from the past. Eventually we will heal and become the best version of ourselves. All the best 👍
