@@rebeccamace1534 Everyone is different, some communicate consent non-verbally as things heat up (Woman grabs his crotch to signal escalation, man grabs her crotch in response). It's always good to ask to make sure, but once a couple knows each other non-verbal communication can be okay too.
@calliestreet11783 жыл бұрын
I think it's because people don't automatically assume that lack of consent means rape- meaning rape is a violent, painful act. But that's only in certain circumstances. Rape isn't always physically painful, but it's still damaging either way. Just like you don't have to hit someone to abuse them. Sex is an intimate act for everyone involved, so therefore everyone needs to be respectful. This doesn't just apply to men, it also applies to women. I once had sex when I was too inebriated to consent, I couldn't even voice the word no let alone get him off me. Was it painful? No. It even felt nice at times (from what I remember) but I felt dirty and trapped. The awful thing is, I don't even think he realized what was happening, and that's because we aren't taught about consent. Our view of rape is usually a worst-case scenario so the rest gets swept under the rug.

I felt so sorry for the guy with the bow tie when he said that he couldn’t make his girlfriend come even though he tried his best and did a lot of research. So, to all men out there: not all women can orgasm easily - some don’t even orgasm a single time during their entire life. But whether they orgasm or not doesn’t necessarily depend on you. It also depends on them, on how good they know their own body and on whether or not they communicate what they like. As always, communication is key. If you’re not sure that your girl is enjoying it, just ask her what she likes and how she touches herself. And to all women: if you didn’t come but still enjoyed it, tell your partner that the sex was good! Sex doesn’t necessarily have to end with an orgasm - it just has to feel good

As a guy can I ask a question, is about 5 inches good enough for most women?
@giulia53083 жыл бұрын
@@lifeisshørt_420 I can’t speak for all women, but I can tell you this: sex is not only about penetration. Many women need clitoris stimulation (rather than penetration) to come or to experience pleasure (I hope KZbin is not gonna censor my comment lol), and speaking with some female friends of mine I’ve realised that several of us don’t even see penetrative sex as the best part of a sexual encounter. I’ve also got some male friends with bigger penises who told me that it hurts their girlfriends to have penetrative sex with them. So I’d say you have no need to worry about your penis size. If you want women to enjoy sex with you, try to ask them what they like and focus on it, and don’t take for granted that they want to have penetrative sex. And if they do want penetrative sex and think that your penis is too small, you can still have fun together with dildos or other sex toys

@@chanelghostin6060 I wrote this comment before I finished the video, and did not think to edit it. At the moment I don't even remember most of these people anymore, but I think it goes without saying that I don't condone that kind of behavior, and would be an asshole if I did. I do recall that at least one of the men who did this said he regretted it, and I can only assume that he was telling the truth, and has changed his behavior. I also have to say that I don't know the context that this happened in, but I automatically assumed that the men were already in a relationship when it happened (I may be wrong there), and this is the kind of thing of thing that many partners, male and female, have wrongfully done. If that's the case, then while it's obviously a shitty thing to do, it's not the kind of thing that (like rape) automatically makes you a horrible person. You shouldn't pressure partners into sex, but if you have done it, and realize you are wrong, regret it, and hopefully change and somehow atone for it with your partner, it is forgivable. From the way they were speaking about it, this was my automatic assumption. It didn't seem like it was anything as serious as rape, or blackmail. I thought they were saying they had pressured a partner into it, which is still wrong, nonetheless, but its just not the same thing. The men who did this did express regret for it, and so I assumed that they knew they were wrong, and had changed. I do not believe in holding something against someone if they have done this (although in many cases there should still be consequences; I understand that), which is perhaps why I did not think to edit my comment. Nevertheless, I may be wrong about the situation, I may have misinterpreted, or I may need to watch the video again. Men dont "forget they have real pressures" - women and feminist media do. The problem is men and women see consent very differently. For instance feminist women believe that someone who willingly consents to sex while intoxicated even with another equally intoxicated person., can retroactively withdraw that consent or not based on how they later feel. To a man this is a absurd idea because it would mean consent was decided later purely on the basis of emotion. It basically reduces adults to children who are incapable of being responsible for their own decisions. Of course the only way this could work is if it is only used against men - as otherwise every other persons in clubs and bars tonight would be a rapist - but of course it would be pathetic to see men as responsible for womens willing choices. However many women apparently do.

@@Tala-rd8bw Aw well actually it doesn't. Pubic hair isn't actually unhygienic. Like other hair on your body, your pubes trap sweat, oil, and bacteria. So, they might have a slightly stronger odor than other areas of your body. As long as you wash regularly, this shouldn't be cause for concern. Pubic hair offers a natural barrier to keep things clean, to decrease contact with viruses and bacteria, and to protect the genitals, particularly the female genitals :)

I really appreciate the guys that admitted to pressuring. It's really tough to be pressured. Even in a relationship. In a relationship you don't want your partner to feel rejected or unwanted, but damn sometimes you're just not feeling it.
@Luxembourgish3 жыл бұрын
It's near impossible for people to admit to pressuring these days, because these commenters falsely equate it to r@p3 which isn't the case in these situations. The law states that consent is valid so long as there's no threats or blackmail. That said, a pressured "yes" is still problematic, though not a crime. People falsely conflating it with the crime of r@p3 stifle any discussion or self growth from the mistake.
@autumnmansfield13043 жыл бұрын
@@Luxembourgish I definitely get what you're saying, but sometimes threats can be more subtle. Sometimes women will give in to the pressuring because they don't know what will happen to them if they say no. I don't mean like he might just get upset. Sometimes there's a dangerous current in the air like pushing back would be the straw that broke the camel's back, and it will tip from pressure to force. By the letter of the law no overt/verbal threat/blackmail has been made , but it's still not really consent either. It's definitely a hard topic because a person can feel harmed even from the underlying threat. It's difficult to explain if you've not experienced it and definitely a hard topic in general.
@Luxembourgish3 жыл бұрын
@@autumnmansfield1304 Absolutely! Definitely above the scope of the average KZbin commenter. I think in relationships where there's the constant feeling of a looming danger, even if it hasn't been expressed, it's best to abandon that relationship altogether.

That is wrong. Consent is like the guy said in the video all parties being enthusiastic about it. I want people to dig deep here and realise when we talk about how society is, we are really talking about how sexisim and toxic masculinity have these negative effects on men too. Sexism says men always want sex, toxic masculinity says you're a guy so of course you should want sex at any given time otherwise are you a guy. Both of those are wrong and form a toxic cycle that harms both men and women.
