Sorry for the misinformation. I don't know where they live but I live in the Netherlands and guess...I have curtains, my neighbour has curtains, and their and so on. So why they don't have curtains is more a mistery

Hello, I am a born and raised Dutch-Surinamese-Indian. Very nice video and thank you for doing this. Fantastic 👍🏾 It strikes me that Indians who come to live here do not even see the Surinamese Indians. Why is it like that? When you come to live in the area (especially in a smaller place), introduce your self to the neighbors. This is customary(in the smaller places) and much appreciated.

Hi.. thank you so much for your comment. Although we have many Surinamese Indian friends , and its so good to see how we have so many similarities- the food , traditions and culture. We think , and we may be wrong , that most of the Indians that move here are unaware of the Surinamese Indian history and that may be one for the reasons for that disconnection.
