Well explained. And very interesting concepts. I especially like the idea of adding an ethical component to process improvement. Throughout my career as a business systems analyst 1970-2003, no one ever asked "Is this the right thing to do?" Our job in IT was to "solve problems." Often, because we did not understand the business, we created new problems. If we eliminated a manual job, we created 3 more jobs to manage the new technology. Nowadays, digital process improvement can actually put large numbers of people out of jobs (like those truck drivers). What will they do?
