The question of how the hexagon shape is achieved, is one of the most difficult subjects to find on YT. I.E. this clip is literally one of the ONLY ones I could find on the subject.

Very nice video! But I thought bees don't necessarily die when they sting. It's just very probable... The probability is in realation to the thickness of the skin. I might be wrong tho.

Great question Luc! After stinging a person to defend her home, she's unable to retract her stinger. Since this also includes her abdomen and digestive track, a massive abdominal implosion occurs causing her death :(
