Richard Li You do not have anything better than troll a gentleman's video insinuating false facts about his character ? Let me guess you are Winston's personal doctor .... I doubt that seriously as I would think being married to Sasha a doctor she would be his doctor ... Before you even reply back saying he had an STD before he met her let me point out in China you can not get married with life long STD's ... In regards to the places he goes if you looked at Winston's video you would know he does not like to go where the tourists frequent ... As far as dodgy places he may or may not go just because he goes to them does not mean he partakes in any of the dodgy services in them . Just because you can not restrain your actions around such places does not mean Winston can not ... Just pack up your belongings into your handkerchief tie it on a stick and go elsewhere... You and your other troll cronies can better benefit this channel and the loyal subscribers of it by hitting the road 🙄

I wouldn't say it's selling wives, because there are no monetary transactions. It's more like a dating service organised by overly concerned older generations. I wasn't aware that they were doing it without the consent of the single men and women involved, but that totally sounds like something Chinese grandparents would do. Lol~

Ridiculous comments “selling wives” from Serpentza !
@Leveosaa4 жыл бұрын
@@MoonLiteNite Dowry and bride price exist in many cultures outside of Asia. If a man proposes with an expensive ring, we wouldn't say he's buying his woman, right? It's a bit judgmental to use "buying" and "selling" to describe the situation.
@captainlafty46064 жыл бұрын
@@Leveosaa Sadly that's a false equivalence. Although I can somewhat see where you are coming from However if we are to use an exemplum; a person in a certain country goes to the government office to get something done and the worker there says he can do it quicker for a gift. That gift is naught more than a bribe in reality. A bride price in reality is a price on the bride (who knew), now that doesn't mean that's bad, but to say that something that involves price and a transaction of wealth for something isn't "buying" and "selling" is ludicrous. Now it can be that it is done with a symbolic price in that case it is just tradition.
@Leveosaa4 жыл бұрын
@@captainlafty4606 Marriage in many cultures involve exchange of money and gifts. It seems arbitrary to label one as a tradition and the other a business transaction. What was described here in the park is more of a dating gathering without the Internet. No money was involved in that specific process. You don't take off the poster and pay the other grandmother right then and there. They exchange contact info and tell their grandkids afterwards about this new guy/girl they found in the park. The real issue here is grandparents reduce their grandchildren into education, properties, salary, career and appearance. That's the sad part. Now, there are actual cases where Asian women being kidnapped and sold to men in other countries or regions. That's the real selling and buying of wives.

I can see the same type of shyness in Sasha as I do with my wife regarding their english. I've noticed some Chinese speaking english where it's evident that they are very advanced in their mimicking of the American accent. But every time they slip in the vocabulary or the sentence structure, their whole accent comes across as artificial. For me, this makes them look disingenuous. Sasha your english is awesome, your accent is absolutely adorable and makes your personality shine through. The same way that any person should do (native or non-native, myself included) continue advancing your vocabulary but don't bother trying to change the accent. These losers, eat Chinese food, drink Chinese water, play with Chinese immature young girls, and then fucking to make some one-sided subjective videos for you to insult and smash. Fuck these rubbish. What qualifications do they have for discussing China? They should go back to their original shit and expose those who don't dare to go out at night, sucking marijuana and keep saying: "I need more freedom! God bless me tomorrow I can continue to live. "The idiot. Haha, all the bad things in China can be fucking and related to the Communist Party? ! To be honest, you are not just hating the Communist Party. The Soviet Union was disintegrated. Does the West forgive Russia? Answer: No. The motives of the West are simple. They don't want to see the developing and growing countries grow and develop so that they can better exploit other countries to serve them. And if the son or daughter still not seeing anyone, the parent will try to get involve and here you have the parents in the park posing their son or daughter bio, its a match making like your friends finder online. Besides its free and genuine rather then many match making agency(they cost you a lot and there are many scam agency too)

If you go to Shenzhen you really need to visit Lian Hua Shan (Lotus Flower Mountain) park. And there are several other parks that are also very nice. I lived in Long Gang district for about 3 months, near a park called Long Cheng. There are also several small to medium sized mountains near or in the boundaries of SZ. These are hills in the 2000 to 3000 meter range. And in Hong Kong, very near, there are also several very interesting places if you like hiking. To find them, the search engine to use is Bing, since Google is not available in China. Try to go on a non-holiday weekday when everybody is at work. Then you will have a lot of space in the park. Weekends and holidays are going to be very crowded. Also, be ready for many steps if it's a mountain. The mountains tend to be very steep, so they tend to put steps instead of ramps. Personally, this hurts my knees after a couple hours. Take a walking stick, at least that helps me. Rubber tip for the brick pathways.

Nice that there isn't any feces on the ground from pets or kids. Wondering if you would do me a favour and post my profile in the Wife/Husband market in the park. LOL joking.

Amazing! I have witnessed all of this in China (Beijing, Shanghai) - also including walking/running backwards. I admire their group activities like exercising or dancing. Almost impossible in Europe where everybody is kind of ashamed to do it in public. Also I wonder if through these marriage ads, a foreignor can find a spouse, too? And their vending machines and small shops are so advanced in terms of payment methods. On the other hand, Wechat customer service is unreachable if you need anything.

It's not the same.. they are just advertising their children they're not selling them for money. And the children themselves are never 'put on view' in person, unlike the greek bride bazaar.
@Mr30friends7 жыл бұрын
Anatidaephobia People weren't actually selling brides in the Greek bride bazaar. It was similar to the Chinese one. The way you are explaining it makes it seem like slave trade.
@Alasterius417 жыл бұрын
Mr30friends Well, it’s not just all papers and posters in the Greek one - the brides are there in person. While the Chinese one is more like newspaper classifieds, as you can see, the daughters themselves are not present. There no financial transactions or exchanges involved or discussed in these Chinese places either.

Warren Lauzon We do have a lot of online dating websites in mainland,China,and young people are really active in those websites.But this kind of park is usually for those retired parents wanting to find a good date for their children,because they don't really trust people on the internet,and in these parks you can take a real look at the man/woman which could be a part of your family in the future.You know,it's no harm to know more.

I've recently started watching your channel and it's really interesting. I don't get why so many comments say you hate China when you clearly don't. Bringing the spotlight to the less than great things doesn't mean you hate a place. I love where I live (but want to travel in the future) but I could point out some of the negatives without meaning it's all negative. Your videos show the other side and that's awesome.

I am from England , have a Thai wife and work in China. For sure Asian girls are beautiful but you must still connect at a deeper level. I never planned on a Thai wife, I met her whilst working there and over the 6 months there connected strongly and we have been together for 7 years. The cultural differences will keep things exciting / different / out of the mundane for many many years, you just have to be patient with each other if translation / miscommunication issues occur. All I can say is do it, Asia has much to offer. Good luck. ;-)

All Chinese parks are basically the same summer bigger than the other ones depending on which city you’re in Shanghai has peoples spark which is in the middle of people square. Hangzhou has a very large park at Westlake “Xi Hu”. Basically you walk around the westlake, but the worst time to go there is during a holiday summer it’s not too bad but the best time weatherwise is in the spring time. The larger parks are usually famous for wedding photos which the way the Chinese do wedding photos one month two months three months or five months before the wedding not after the wedding

I agree with you and your wife about parks. :) This year my wife and I went with friends to a thousand year old temple on a hill that sits 1900 meters. It was pretty much a straight up the mountain climb...all stairs. We got to 1300 meters and decided the 1900 temple would have to wait for another day. What did see, and you should show this in one of your videos is we saw an 80 year grandma carrying her 2 year old grand kid up to the 1300 meter mark. In in the west it would be rare for us to see. I saw a lot of Chinese older folks walking the great wall last year. If you have done the great wall showing people what it's really like would be another great video...its nothing like what people see in the pictures. I know I have walked it. :)

The urbanization of the heavily populated areas makes it harder and harder to preserve green space. I went to a park in Seoul S. Korea that was barely .8 km (half a mile) square and the people I knew drove for 30 minutes to get there and really treasured it and were proud of their green space, they were showing it off to me. Being from Canada, I didn't appreciate the value of a space like this in the heart of such a huge urban center.

that marriage market i think it happens in almost every major city in china public park, same thing happen in shanghai people's park every weekend there will be a huge grandma, grandpa 'marketing' their grandson/granddaughter to find their partners. even they had special section for foreigners or chinese born in foreign country, once i saw one ads stated that he worked in silicon valley making 200k USD / year (age late 30) and still difficult finding a wife. kinda depressing and interesting as well
