they should not miss months without showing videos again. you have to keep the spirit and interest up. a series of videos of what happens "behind the scenes" would be a good example for that. thank you for the good work you have given us during these months.

I wish they would ask how much sag they run and then cover damper settings. Hard and soft is all relative.

Is your suspension hard... not interesting at all. What are the pressures, tokens, tune,... etc
@AG.Floats7 жыл бұрын
It's all up to preference and depends on the trail you are riding. Just copying settings is silly for anyone to do.
@MrBjorntsc7 жыл бұрын
It's just click bait, it doesn't cover the topic at all. Even if you don't decide to use someone else's settings, it's still interesting...

How much pressure or many tokens is not a secret nd not intresting for anyone else. Its like asking for someone elses shoe size.

@@obi-wankenobi9871 i would strongly disagree
@obi-wankenobi98714 жыл бұрын
@@davidlawrie5551 Why? If you want to know world cup racers setups (at least for fox) just watch Dialed. If there was a best setup the suspension fork would come with that setup when you buy them.

I totally agree with the other comments looking at the name of this video. I expected a lot more detail, PSI , sack rate, tokens tyre , pressure , rider weight now that would've been useful. For example, I am personally 13 stone 10 lbs. My bike is a specialised Enduro carbon elite 2017, 170 mm travel front and rear, three tokens in the front, 98 psi, 20% sack, rebound seven clicks from full open, compression wide-open , minions DHF double casing, rocky conditions, 24 psi rear shock, 30% sack using auto sag same setting regardless of body weight, seven clicks from full open same as front, again minion DHF, 24 psi, no tokens in shock . This seems absolutely perfect for relatively rocky terrain, which you can see in my latest video that I have uploaded getting blown away at the Malvern Hills . I'm not a professional rider but I hope this information is helpful. That was the sort of detail I was expecting.
@obi-wankenobi98716 жыл бұрын
Why? Would you also buy a shoe size, because some pro rider has shoe size X?

0.58 in, she says we just change the rebound. Which has nothing to do with the hardness or softness of a suspension... #ugh
@hobmarg7 жыл бұрын
It's somewhat related... higher pressure/spring rate = more rebound damping required to control the suspension.

fox 34/36 or rockshox pike/lyric up front, both are great. stay away from the rockshox monarch rear shock though, I'm on my third and I've only had the bike 6 months! Manitou are crap and ohlins are too specialised, they'll cost an arm and a leg to service and maintain.

Btw, all the millennial Muppets Take note rear shock öhlins coilover... not an air shock... all the fanboys are going to get their skivvies in a Twist because they think air shocks are better 😂😂😂 The best downhillers and Enduro Racers are running coilovers because they are more reliable. When an air seal blows out on a shock the shock is completely useless. This is why the majority of the top Supercross and Motocross teams are still running coilovers.
@heygoodlookin59096 жыл бұрын
Amen to that. Air shocks are a fad, they are simply not as good as a coil by design. Perhaps a little bit lighter, but less functional in the rough stuff.
@lamefart6 жыл бұрын
Well, Gwinner winning 6 world cup dh titles for the past 8 years on air shocks... Coil has better small bump sensitivity but Gwin preferred hard suspension setup so he chose air over coil sprung suspensions...
