When it comes to really dusty sets, I slowly take them off the shelf, through the house and dust them outside on a table. That way the dust is permanently being removed from the house, and will not simply re-settle somewhere else in my Lego collection. It's very tedious and time consuming though.

I realize this is off subject but, I ran across a Lego Boeing 747 bag of parts and when I try to look up anything about it for reference to build it I can't find anything that looks close. Does anyone know anything about it? I assume it has to be from the 80's or so..

I'm wondering if the suction is actually doing much or if it's mainly the brush on the end... I'd like to see a side by side without the brush.

This goes for all vacuum cleaners; suction by itself doesn't do much with settled dust; the brush puts dust in suspension and it gets caught in the air stream of the vacuum cleaner (instead of ending settled somewhere else and/or in your lungs which is what happens when you just remove the dust with a brush)

the best way that I clean my Legos is with a soft cloth and a soft toothbrush. the cloth is for the big stuff and the toothbrush is great for cleaning dust out from between studs my tools cost me like 5 buck the cloth was from a ripped up shirt and the toothbrush was 5 bucks

This is great but I will stick with the car detailing slime. It's very cheap and easy to make urself and works great with 0 chance of the dust getting blown into the air just to land back on the Lego later

I bought one a couple months ago and I’m not that impressed with it. First off mine was shipped in a soft side envelope from China and one of the attachments was broken when I received it. I find that the charge doesn’t last for very long. Its pretty good for about 15 minutes and then it starts to dissipate rather quickly. It does seem to charge fairly quick though. The instructions were in very poorly translated English and gives no times on how long to charge or use time. I find nothing works better than makeup brushes and canned air. I do have to say I’m one of those weird people that finds dusting my Legos very relaxing and enjoyable. it’s all part of the hobby.

I find it relaxing and enjoyable too honestly. I use a similar vacuum to the one he showcases. And I get your the charge not lasting long mine doesn't really either. But It's better then blowing on it or trying to get a cloth in there to dust it thats for sure. And I'll have to try makeup brushes and canned air🤔.

I'm guessing you could easily spend 40 hours a week cleaning that amount of sets on open shelving lol. With my severe dustmite allergy, I plab to keep as much as I can behind glass or acrylic doors, fully enclosed.

My brother recommended me this vacuum, and it exceeded my expectations, it made what I thought was going to be a long job into a very short maintenance minute, though I will say the battery life isn't as long as I thought it was going to be. Granted, with the need to recharge being the only reason it took longer is a positive, will be trying this with other things, cannot recommend this enough, well worth the money.

I'm just going to say it: don't buy this product... Just buy an alternative cheaper no brand model on Amazon, it will work just the same... There is another Lego hobby KZbinr that tried out this product a while ago & he tested it and came to the conclusion that this isn't worth it. The battery-life which wasn't tested in this video... is terrible! Next time, you get a paid review; you could atleast look at the box and tell us the type of battery the product has aswell as the suction power. With that information the watcher could make a better informed opinion about this lackluster product.
