Mommy, are you asking "How do I get my Baby through a nursing strike?!?" In this video I'll go over what a nursing strike is, some possible reasons that it could be happening, and how to get Baby back to the breast. It is important to remember these tips:
- RELAX - Baby can sense when you are upset, and that makes Baby less likely to want to latch
- Never let Baby, OR you get upset at the breast. If either of you starts to get upset, take a break and try again later.
- Be CONSISTENT - Offer the breast at every feeding that you're with Baby, multiple times per feeding if possible.
I hope that this video is helpful to you, Mommy! Be sure to comment below with any questions that you have and I will do my best to answer them for you!
