Ergo carrier is very best friend of mine! I live in the country, so I take my baby in Ergo carrier back carry with me in all farm works - feeding animals, milking cow, garden etc. But Hip carry is the best when I need to put up and get off baby quickly, f.e. when I go to town shopping. Of course, it all can be done also with woven wrap (what I also have), but with Ergo it's really faster! Greetings from Latvia and thanks for this carrier! :)

try wrapping it at home and wearing it like a shirt. its super easy to just get baby out of carseat and slip into the wrap in a parking lot. i think its way safer too than trying to maneuver that fabric, and watch my toddler and older kids in a parking lot.

You and everybody else. The hip carry is a marketing ploy. It isn't actually realistic possibility in a SSC. It's uncomfortable at best and difficult to do with any child older than 6 months old.

this is not frikking easy. they can say it's easy 100 times but it's still gonna be hard for the first 20 times you do it. also the back buckle is like for double jointed yogis. good carrier but def not the magic unicorn everybody says it is.

I love that it works even if you're still big af after the pregnancy and have a lot of weight to lose, a lot of carriers don't allow for overweight/extra wide wearers

I would love to hip carry my toddler but when I tried it on based on this video, I find that it doesn't fit very well. Can you show how it looks like on the side when the baby is in the carrier? As in pose the model on her side so that we can see how the carrier looks like. The top part of my carrier seem very, very loose.

Do you have an Ergobaby original? There are more than one type of Ergobaby carrier. This won’t be the same for a Omni 360° for instance.

BandanaP It's actually VERY easy, and I'm glad I bought one since I can be out of the house in a minute and I don't have the hassle of a stroller. It looks hard, especially the first time, but soon it becomes a second nature. My baby always falls asleep in the carrier, so it's worth it!

This is so dumb. The strap is at my neck and the buckle is digging into my neck! I paid $140 bucks for this damn thing because of all the positions but this is NOT comfortable at all!!!! If you are small this is NOT comfortable. You need to make so adjustments to the hip carry for real. I am not happy.
