I got into the show since I saw the first few episodes in the hospital waiting room. I love you and Ms. Heaton in The Middle. I've seen all 9 seasons 6 times in a row. PS: I never thought Hollywood had any conservative, much less Christian celeberties in it, seeing how woke it has become. I'm Christian myself, and im proud of it. When my daughter was pregnant.. somehow.. it became a running joke that we were going to name the baby 'BRICK'.. after YOU!! Atticus’s portrayal of Brick on THE MIDDLE was a tour de force. He had to be wry, strange, winsome, oblivious, demanding, obstinate, misunderstood-whatever the script demanded of that character on any given episode. It was a much more complicated portrayal than many realize. Every member of that great cast was three-dimensional and essential to the whole equation: Patricia, Neil, Charlie, Eden, and all the great recurring actors and guest stars. One of my favorite shows, without doubt-it’s wise and hilarious and REAL. Never smarmy. A love letter to the Great American “small town neighborhood” and families of all sorts who struggle to make it in such towns. And Atticus definitely had some outstanding acting chops for his age. Three cheers for hobbits, too!

This video is literally one of the best and most hilarious things I have seen in a long time. Oh my gosh. So funny! Thank you! I was literally laughing out loud. I didn’t even know that Atticus had any videos, but I found it because I had been watching the episode of The Middle where Brick graduated from 8th grade and sang that wonderful song with his friend. I was looking to see if I could find or purchase a full length version of the song they sang, “This Will Be Our Year”, bc I literally love their version the most. (Does anyone know if it exists, or if it’s possible to get it?) Anyway, I’m SO happy that I came across this. I’ve recently been watching The Middle from the beginning, on HBO Max, and have been enjoying it a lot. It’s been strangely uplifting; strange bc the Hecks were usually struggling so much with… money, sinks, socks, pantless teenagers, Sue never making anything, and Brick’s social challenges. But yet it’s still great to watch. I consider that seriously Miraculous. No doubt from fabulous acting, and fantastic writing. We have Atticus and Eden, Patricia, and everyone else to thank. I read some other comments here, and I just have to say, I’m pretty progressive, and I can’t imagine how anyone could possibly be offended by this video. I think it’s awesome. And hilarious. I also woke up today with Brick’s song in my head from his graduation. I have found it to be playing in my head a lot lately, actually. It brings me happiness. I also just had a few moments to watch Brick (Atticus) do his dance to Perry Como’s “Papa Loves Mambo” in Axl’s Winnebago. Oh my gosh. So flippin’ funny. And great. Back when we were watching the Middle me and my older daughter would call her Brick. 😂 she was 4’6 at age 11 when she had her scoliosis surgery and she’ll be 20 in 2 months and still 4’6 .
