Isn't it dangerous to base our salvation and God's love for us on feelings? Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so.

I wouldn't say we are basing our salvation on our feelings.

Ok, but how do we know when the Spirit is witnessing with (to?) our spirit? If it is not a feeling, is it cognition or something else? I appreciate your ministry.

I really appreciate this video. I feel that a lack of inward assurance leads to anxious perfectionism, but what about those who struggle with wanting reassurance? Is it something a person should seek more than once or when it seems lacking?
