Yolande, wonderful tour of your craft area. I imagine you are enjoying your new place now that you have it arranged. I am thrilled for you that you have such a creative space and that you use it! Great studio set up . Great use of space especially to accommodate your tap dancing . Imagine a piece of your art created by tap dancing on the substrate covered in blobs of acrylic paint ( when your piece sells for mega dollars just remember who inspired you ) Thank you for the well presented tour.

Oh gee! Amazing organization! It makes me feel so much better that I don’t have near the amount of stuff I thought I had! 😂 My home space is organized but not attractive but I know where stuff is and that’s important. I wish I could show you my teeny tiny studio on board my houseboat. It is an 18” ish square cube on a turntable that has “pockets” on the outside spaces and a large well in the center. It is a Staples office piece I bought at a thrift store for $6. It contains my watercolor paint, oil pastels, watercolor pencils, Lyra sticks/pencils/pens, a tiny collection of acrylic paints, brushes/tools/scissors. My work space is a mobile laptop desk that I have lowered to its lowest setting and I sit on a folding stool. All this tucks away neatly under the bulkhead of the upstairs bedroom bed space. We turned the third cuddy bedroom (can’t stand up in it anyway, other than the immediate step area into a storage space. I’m pretty pleased with my tiny set up!

Oh I don’t live on the houseboat full time. I just keep the essentials here for art attacks. I’m not in fb or in makers. I have stepped out and have joined Trina Baker’s mixed media arts Patreon tho. That is progress for me as I prefer to not have a much of an online presence other than chatting with PMS gang and a few other KZbinrs in the art world.

What a beautiful room Yvonne. I’m in awe. Where are your scraps??? Did I miss those lol? I also have a bin of things that need to be put away…it’s never empty and results in small piles on my desk. I think part of my difficulty is that I also work from home some days and part of my desk has to hold my laptop and an extra monitor. It’s always a work in progress. A lot of my scraps are in my Alex drawer unit under painty papers, needs layers, wips or Gelprint bits. I also showed a couple bins in my Kallax unit (the shelf with the square openings) that have some smaller collage bits and a tray that I put wips that were on my desk. Often I will have piles on the left side of my L shaped desk. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching Charmaine!
