Like if I am making 1 kg cake then should Calculate the final finish weight or I have to calculate separate sponge+ water+ icing cream Weight. *if I am weighing the cake after making , then side is becoming small because sponge is already soaked with water . Pls suggest how to calculate the weight 🙏

i am trying to start my homebakery...i have a lot of friends who love my cakes...and i have made really good cakes which tasted even better than the ones in bakeries.. I'm yet to officially start my homebakery.. but some of my friends say that people won't buy from a homebakery when they have the option of buying cheap cakes from a bakery.. I'm kind of insecure now..
