My Dear Angela, I found you about 3 weeks ago or so and I am so hooked on your videos. I am new to quilting but because of you I have now completed 2 quilts. Nothing fancy on the strip quilt I made, I just echoed the lines like you suggest and the second one was a panel baby quilt. This one I did free motion because you gave me the courage to try. It is not perfect by any means but it came out ok. And my mom loves it. Thank You so much for sharing your talents, wit and fun spirit with the rest of the quilting world. I will be watching for more videos. Thank you so much. Bonnie Anderson - Griffith, IN

Hey Bonnie, your story is "my story," & imagine for quite a few people - Angela's encouragement is equally important to the skill she shares. While I am quilting, I will "hear her voice" in my head saying: "A finished quilt is the best quilt," and "Watch where you are going (not the needle)," and "Close enough is good enough," "I am the expert of my own opinions," and so many. I am slightly "ahead" of you having made 3 quilts. Ha. I hope you always have fun at quilting. Because of Angela and now others, I am having the time of my life.

I can piece the tops but quilting it terrifies me - so - I am friends with an 80 yr old quilter who over the years has pieced 12 inch blocks by the box full. She has allowed me to take those blocks and quilt them as I see fit. What a great gift, I get to work on small pieces, make mistakes and we still put them into lap quilts and she gives these "works of art" to the local hospitals and women's shelters and I get to improve my quilting skills before I tackle those quilt tops that I have worked so hard to piece. Great video, look forward to the next one.

Hi Angela, I believe your How do I quilt it? videos are a wonderful idea. My Quilty Aunt challenged me to enter a quilt in competition. I carefully pieced your Modern rail fence to a Queen size, carefully pressed and sandwiched the top. Now I'm stuck. Maybe an abstract surface pattern for texture? I tried that on a grunge fabric, large 1/2 log cabin benefit quilt and it turned out great. I cannot wait to hear your Quilt Show enhancement advice. I adore all your videos, down to earth, funny, the wine (clutsy me my wine glass is stemless) and tackle it attitude. Thank you for encouraging us to improve.

Angela, love your videos. This one spoke to me . Loved all your suggestions and examples of quilts, however a longer time on the example would be great. They went by too fast. Also the close ups are terrific, but seeing the entire quilt quilted would be terrific as well. Thanks for your enthusiasm and great videos, oh and your jokes!!

So sorry! Here's a link to a blog post about the same subject. There are still photos of all the quilts shown in the video. Hope that helps. www.quiltingismytherapy.com/2017/07/18/deciding-quilt-new-blog-series/

I am going to love this series. Thank you. I am hoping bargello quilts get mentioned at some point. I have a king sized bargello still waiting to be quilted because I have no idea what to do.

Would love to see a video on marking a quilt top, like the last one you quilted with curved lines in open spaces! Love watching you! Keep up with your fun spirit! Blessings to you!

Gotta luv your truisms...who hasn't had a zit they wanted to de-emphasize?! Lol. Each of the categories could be a tutorial alone. Showing the example with you pointing out the suggestions, rationale & pros/cons while talking would be helpful. Thanks for tackling this aspect of quilting - much appreciated!
