When Gods Kingdom comes, His will is done on earth as it is in heaven. But we are not supposed to wait for Jesus to return for it to happen. The whole message Jesus preached was ‘Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand’. This is what the bible calls ‘the good news’. This is also what Jesus calls the Gospel of the Kingdom. And it is this gospel that will be preached to the ends of the earth before the end. Jesus said this before he even died for us. It is this gospel that is confirmed with signs and wonders. Today’s Gospel is so consumed with Jesus death and resurrection that we stop there and do not preach the full Gospel. Today’s Gospel teaches us the way to His Righteousness. It gets us saved but we stop there. In Mat 6;33 Jesus says seek first the kingdom of god and his righteousness. Mat 11;12 the Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence and the violent are taking it by force. Violence or forcefull pressure. How can anyone take it by force if Jesus has already come back and it just happens? Luke 17:20 the coming of the Kingdom of God can not be observed. Yet we will all see when Jesus returns. It doesn’t make sense because Jesus is talking about now. Luke 12;32 do not be afraid any longer little flock for your father is pleased to give you the Kingdom. Well we would not be afraid after Jesus returns. God wants it done the way he set it up to be done. When we work in partnership with Him. When I lay hands on the sick and they are healed, what happens is my speaking in faith cracks the kingdom of darkness hold on the sick person. Violently forces it back in the spirit. God will is done for the brief moment and God heals the sick person, just like they would be healed in heaven. This moment is the “on earth as it is in heaven” part. Luke 11;20 but if it is by the finger of God that I drive out demons then the kingdom of God has come upon you. (Or come near to you). Jesus says over and over that whatever we ask the father for in his name, he will give to us. And he gives us two reasons why, John 16.23 so that your Joy May be complete and John 14;12 and what ever you ask the father in my name I will do. So that the father may be glorified in the son. And he gives us clues on how as well like Mat 21;21 if you have faith and do not waiver.... and mark 11;23 ...and does not doubt in his heart.... mark 11;24 ... believe you will receive it and it shall be yours ..... This is why Jesus can confidently and boldly say MK 16;17 these signs shall accompany those who believe .... he is not Joking or talking about apostles only, he is talking about those who believe. That means you and me. Sadly most of us don’t believe that much or work out what he was talking about. Truth is It is the Holy Spirit that will link up all these scriptures for a person and give them understanding of many things but it is reserved for those who do what Jesus says and seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. I began by focusing on everything Jesus said and I just decided it was true because Jesus said it and carried on from there. You can too. The kingdom of God is at hand for you.

It's not inward... that is not biblical .. we should not look to ourselves but God.. we shall not depend on ourselves but God.. we are only vessels that the Lord uses.. God has all the answers.. our hearts are deceitful and there is nothing good within this flesh.. Only God is holy and his spirit that lives within us guides us but our hearts is deceitful so therefore we must look to God and not within ourselves.. God gives us power through his holy spirit but this mindset is wrong

I've been asking God how to do this correctly and having knowledge of this verse. After many years of not seeking because of extreme discouragement over and over and over again, I lost my fervency for God. I felt abandoned and cursed and could not change it no matter what I did. So....I froze in time. Now I'm wanting nothing more than His will and "seeking first his kingdom".

According to the late Dr. Myles Munroe, one of the influential Kingdom teacher in my lifetime, when we have the Holy Spirit in us, we have the Kingdom of God in us. His influence is in us and hence we are Ambassadors of God. We should be influencing the world around us to be like the Kingdom of Heaven, for if we are ambassadors of Heaven, we are it's citizens, then just as Caesar sends a Pontius Pilate to make that area like Rome, we need to influence Earth so it will be lije Heaven. The Kingdom is a government, not a religion, that was why Jesus never was a part of the religious around his time. Jesus brought a Kingdom (a goverment), not a religion. So seek the Kingdom, means seek the governmental influence of The Kingdom of God.

I know this was posted over 6 years ago, but God's Word is alive, active and sharper than a two edged sword, so It’s principals are always applicable for any person in any season of his/her life. This is applicable in my current season as the Holy Spirit has been ministering Matthew 6:33 to me a lot lately. Thank You so much for clarity because I had to do a self-righteous check on myself because in my mind, I thought I was seeking Him and His righteousness. Oh, but this video revealed to me that my definition of righteousness is not God’s. Thank You, Lord, for using this minister to provide me guidance. ❤I just spoke to the Lord earlier asking Him to rid me of my own views perceptions, desires and ideas of myself so that I can understand myself and see myself for who I am in Him. Who I really am. My prayer was just more of you Lord and less of me. I am tired of seeing myself and living my life out of my own small limited perspective I just cried out that Lord I want more! The "Kingdom of GOD" is the literary gospel, the scripture, the good news, the BIBLE. Matthew 18:2 Jesus says that we must “become as little children” in order to enter the kingdom of God.
