Fantastic episode! The tips on staying positive are real gems💎. I can totally relate to lamenting the end of the Olympics, we loved every minute. I also appreciate the, "being real", description of your doctor's visit. It made me feel a little less nervous about my next check up. Thanks again, Dave❤️🤙🏼

Great tension cue btw. This? Timely! I can relate to everything mentioned here. Thanks for this! I feel like I'm not alone in this as much as I did think. What do I do? I have routines. I walk Max the wonder dog out to the mailbox which is about 1/2 mile away. We actually run there. I cold-plunge at around 4:30 AM in the Winter and around 9 in the Summer. Just 2 minutes a day in about 40-50 degree water in a clawfoot tub in the rock garden. Of course, I make music. Even though it IS production music, writing to suite, it still DOES have the art side to it. I think about that part of doing this stuff. Little-by-little, I am ego-checking myself for every return and even forwards.

I’ve also had them dig in my ear. Very uncomfortable but good to know it’s not all aging hearing loss

36:35 Haven't found it. Doesn't exist. Learned that Slash hates Axl. Iommi has punched out Ozzy, at least twice. Donita Sparks doesn't speak to Suzi Gardner, while living only two blocks away. Steve Vai can't comprehend Counterpoint, John Mayer can't comprehend modes, and both of them dropped out of Berklee even though Berklee invites them back as guest instructors. Hall hates Oats. How can Hall and Oats hate each other?? 🤯

Interesting perspective! I'm not sure I follow your point regarding these popular artists and how they don't like their collaborators. I would imagine that fame and $$ had more to do with breaking up their relationships than anything else.
