I have been reading the Bible for 2,5 months now, one chapter a day and realized that I follow similar advices. Everyday I pray to God for revelation of the truth, I read 3 times a given chapter (second time is the longest because I analyze the Word in deepful way) and then meditate on the Word after the study. Application is my biggest issue but God helps me.

I always ask myself where do I start from and thought I would limit the Holy Spirit from leading me if I glued to just one specific book or chapter. But I have realised that I haven't even sought His leading in the first place. The division of the books has brought clarity and the entire procedure as laid out seems to make it easier to dive into studying the word of God. Thanks David.
