I use an app in addition to my Life Church apps that replaces your cell phone update with Bible prompts and it sets prayers and Scripture for the morning and the evening! It keeps chiming until you open it or snooze it, but you must open it to stop it and when you open it there is a bible verse waiting. It asks your mood and gives you a verse and prayer prompts for how your day went in the evening and that has kept me on schedule. The YouVersion Bible I have used for reading the translation that works for me and audio as well, and I have a separate reading app that allows me to easily mark how many times I have read each chapter. I hope it gets easier. I had to struggle as well to get used to charging through the Old Testament, but it has been totally worth it. Once you get going, it becomes like a habit and makes the day better. If the reading is difficult, do know that you can listen to the audio Bible. I sometimes put on one Book on repeat and fall asleep and wake up to it. That has helped as well! Peace, family!

Allah forbids the People of the Scriptures from going to extremes in religion, which is a common trait of theirs, especially among the Christians. The Christians exaggerated over Jesus PBUH until they elevated him above the grade that Allah gave him. They elevated him from the rank of prophethood to being a god, whom they worshipped just as they worshipped Allah.

I highly recommend looking at the Bible Project started by Tim Mackie and Jon Collins. They have a KZbin series and website doing deep dives into books of the Bible with historical context and intent. It’s creative, enlightening, and a great way to understand the grace of Jesus from a biblical perspective as one cohesive story.

I was baptized last Sunday and one of the prophecies over me was that I will be a woman of the word. I just ordered a study Bible with gel highlighters that won't bleed on the pages and tabs. They arrive on Friday and starting on Friday I have set time aside everyday for the next 2 weeks to study the bible everyday aswell as note any differences I see in my life which I'm positive there's going to be a lot to note. Thank you so very much for this comprehensive way to begin my journey. I look forward to watching more of your videos. I was a volunteer with church online for years. Eventually I was lead in other directions. Despite moving back to OKC after years out of state I never connected back with Life Church. We attend a Baptist church and love it. No idea why this popped up but glad it did. Craig is a fantastic teacher. It’s been five or six years since I listened but I’m positive I will watch regularly from now on.
