We call it Color/Material Board, usually you can ask a construction material representatives to provide you samples, bcoz later if the client approved they get commissions, that’s why sales rep visit Architectural Offices and conduct seminars(w/free foods) on the latest new materials his company provides. Hi Architect! Sobrang helpful po ng mga vids ninyo sa katulad kong nag sisimula sa contrata. Nakita ko po ang dami nyo pong project at iniidolo po kita. Tanong ko lang po pano po ba makakuha ng mga costumer sa fields natin. Kailangan po ba madaming koneksyon? San po ba makakahanap ng mga project? Bakit yung iba tila hindi nauubusan ng Project? Samantalang ako maswerte na maka 3 sa isang taon. May maliit po ako na firm. Sana po masagot mo. Malaking tulong po ito sakin na nangangarap na maging successful din po katulad nyo. Salamat po.

Hi Einnor, you can visits any expo and have it received from the manufacturers and suppliers. But of course for students, some manufacturers and suppliers don't provide it except for a brocure only,.

Hello po sir ,sa client meeting kapag po kino consider pa nya if ikaw ang I hire nya talaga na architect , pano mo po ma prove na ikaw ang I hire if you can't give drawings still of your ideas for the projects , or puwede po ba just verbally describe your concept. kapag service agreement first parang walang choice ang client sa klase Ng architect na gusto nya para sa project ? Or dadaanin muna sa portfolio presentation? Nice contents sir , marami po Kami natututunan👍👍👍😉

Yes you can. But not all suppliers provide... You may ask also retaso in some projects ng mga Architects.

Thank you for sharing this maestro. Question po, na mention nyo po na kailangan sign and sealed para ma consider na intellectual property, at na mention nyo rin na meron intellectual creation. Ang mga digital copies rin po ba like pdf files, cad files, and 3d renderings can be covered by intellectual property since di mo sya ma sign and sealed? Or enough na ang logo para ma legally recognize ang ownership ng architect? Thank you maestro, more powers.

May be one of this days you can talk about how to process building permits, how to fill up who are the allied professions that will sign the permits, also the fees and computation...ALSO another topic What if the client/clients source of income to finance the project. Is through bank, pag ibig GSIS for govt employees..this will help the new architects. Been practicing my profession for 7 years and need to study more and more...and been planning also to go back full time as a design/build architect. As to present im i to specialized field. FACADE DESIGN/CURTAIN WALL GLASS AND ALUMINUM for low to medium to high rise building. Hi Arch. Jeffrey, PDF files can be digitally signed, also the law mention the word seal but it does not distinguish between a dry seal and a rubber stamp seal or a digital seal although we used presently as a matter of practice of a dry seal because our IRR specifically provides. I want to note that in the early days, lawyers who are notary public are using in their notaries a notarial dry seal, however in todays generations, some lawyers are using rubber stamp of their seals. Hence; it is my view that dry seal in the design prescribe by the Board in the IRR should be amended and given consideration to the use of rubber stamps and or digital seals that will do also as well. On the other hands, I am much more confident that the drawings in pdf better be plotted in an Architects letter head with logo rather than a logo only or of a title block bearing Architects letter head and digitally signed to be more secured. Thanks.

@@Ma3stro-752 thank you for this informative reply Maestro. Follow up question lang po with technicalities in mind. Lets say meron kayo design ng bahay and hindi natuloy. You have a digital copy of the files but you don't have a digital seal and signature, then since di sya natuloy na project, you also don't have a physical copy sign and sealed. And then some person somehow got a copy of your files and used it, in your view Maestro, will this be covered by intellectual property or not? Since you don't have either physical or digital copy signed and sealed. Would greatly appreciate your reply on this, thank you talaga Maestro. Stay safe.

In my view, you can still claim for its copyright under R.A. 8293 "The intellectual Property Code of the Philippines", and not Sec 33 of R.A.9266, but considering that some designs today is almost semilar to each other, if only portion of the design is an issue of copyright it is hard to prove the origin of the author, but if its the whole perpective or thd plans, then you should proved it thru any communication of submission to trace the origin of such design in the absencd of physical documents and the dates of transmission and creation. good day architect, I have one question i have a friend gusto niya na mag pa gawa ng bahay pero gusto niya copy paste sa ibang bansa na design, dahil daw matagal na niya itong gustong bahay, alam natin bawal ito, kailangan ba natin gawin ito sa client or sundin ang kanyang gusto. pano ba explain sa owner ang situation salamat nakakalito lang.

You may get the design and have it revise to fit in their lot and have it orient base on out climate, then explain to Cleint that needs to revise the design base on our climatic condition... Then just have accent of same concept if the looka of the house.

Sir what if the schematics are given in pdf form because the client is in abroad but the architect signed the schematic design before giving it to them and ask for signature of client and send back to the architect? May habol pa rin po ba ang architect if ever ?thank you

You can request to suppliers or some you can get to any expo like UAP/PIA Conventions and exhibits, Worldbex, PhilConstruct and others. you may also visit any Construction Depot and request to them.. pero minsan pahirapan din...
