Does it tell you how much more time is added to the outcome when you change stitch size? Also, I'm curious on the details for the lowest your machine would allow :) thanks for this video

I have not timed the actual stitch difference. For one, I wouldn’t have the patience to stitch one out I know wouldn’t be as good of a quality as one with a shorter stitch that looked best in the preview. After that, to me the greater amount of time is not of consequence as any photo stitch takes a great amount of time, so what’s one more hour? There’s a peek into my brain. The smaller the stitch length the clearer the image. The software does limit the minimum stitch length so the concern about stitch out should net really be an issue.

Can these files be saved to be stitched out on industrial embroidery machines for production. It would be awesome if I would be able to send some photo embroidery designs as a DST file to my manufacturer.

Some industrial embroidery machines have software that can print out jpg/jpegs but those of course can only be printed out as an entire photo. They can't print png files with a transparent background. Is the custom tool very accurate for tracing around complicated shapes such as the sunflower in this video?

@@Devious1Funk You can use to trace around an object. The main benefit is to allow you to sketch (Freeform or over an image) to create your own design. If you want to trace around an image to use for regular digitizing, there is that ability in the main section of the software. If you have a stylus-type mouse, that is also helpful.

​@@QualitySewingWA Wow. This might actually be the method I've been searching for to digitize certain objects or parts of a photo. Although I'm not sure if the limitation of colours would be a factor as 32 would be a lot and my manufacturer may not have the same thread charts available on the software. Black and white/Sepia or some sort of CMYK process might be doable though :) Again, Much appreciated!

If you get a nice photo from a source like Etsy, it should work the same was in the Floriani software. If you purchase an embroidery design from a third party, it is pretty much the way it is. It can not be converted into photo stitch.
