I love butter. I spray my beard at night w/a water sprayer mist, then use about a nickel size of butter on the out side of beard then under Meath the beard and run hands through the middle layer of hairs. Them I use a Chicago number 7 pick and comb in all directions and then use a number 6 and comb straight down. I do that every single night. I shower in am and rinse out w/a Chicago comb in shower then wash my beard. Great job, I appreciate you my man

Hey Scott love the videos ! I am at a crossroads a couple friends said they do oil and butter before bed I have always used just butter before bed what do you normally do?

+Scott Havlin Scott great name sir! I’ve done both ways before bed just to see which one is better for me and I gotta go with butter only. Butter on its own is enough for a night time routine. I think adding oil on top of butter for a nightly routine is adding the risk of clogged pours and product build up. Just get your beard slightly dampened then apply your butter throughout your beard and give it 45-hour to soak in before bed and you should be good. That’s what I’ve been doing for my beard and it’s been showing some great results. Hope this helps man!

I dampen my beard and then put in beard butter every night for nourishment. Rinse or wash out every Morning.

Hey man when you get your beard damp for beard butter do you use cold water or warm water I’ve been using cold and I don’t think it’s been working

Hey Tyler thanks for reaching out man and thank you for watching the video! What I've been doing is I have a little spray bottle that I keep in my bathroom and its usually room temperature and I find that feels better and has helped. Try that and see if that helps my friend!

Hey man I have another question I work during the mornings to evening every Monday-Friday, don’t shower until I get off work do you do both oil and butter after showering or just oil after shower then butter before bed?

​@@tylerblank8705 hmm I would just suggest giving your beard a good cleaning after your shower and then just apply beard butter about 1-2 hours before you go to bed. I would consider you make sure to have a morning routine already in place before you go to work that way your taking care of your beard thoroughly throughout the day. So just dampen your beard in the morning dry it off with towel and then apply beard oil and get after it haha! Hopefully that is helpful! The only time I could possibly relate to this question is when I play hockey late at night and after I shower I just apply beard butter before I go to bed.
