How do I use the Little Snowie 2 Ice Shaver?

I purchased this machine about 3 weeks ago and I think I've used it nearly everyday since we had it. I think I love it more than my kids. I love the fact that you can take ice straight from the ice maker and get snow like ice. I'm actually about to make me a snow cone for breakfast after watching this video. Lol.

Shame on you! It's 24' with 30 MPH winds and snowing. I'm sitting here shivering because your Little Snowie 2 was delivered this afternoon. OMGosh, the machine is AWESOME and the syrups are so good I can't stop eating the snow. Running an animal shelter 24X7 and having a little 16 year old dog die in my arms at 3 A.M. I treated myself to this machine. You have not disappointed. Bless your hearts!

I have been impatiently awaiting the arrival of our Snowie 2. Received it today and just tried it - The verdict is in ..... Simply the BEST ice shaver on the market for home use. We just visited Kona (The Big Island) and had Hawaiian shaved ice. These businesses were using commercial grade ice shavers. The Snowie 2 is very comparable. The ice is fluffy as opposed to crushed. I highly recommend this product. And the included syrup flavors, cups and spoons are a bonus. Very Happy

i just got one the other day BEST ice shaver i ever got i understand 200 bucks is a lot for a ice shaver but its really well made even if you want i HIGHLY recommend just buying there flavors and getting a cheap knock off ice shaver(but it wont be the same) anyway there flavors are honestly the best id ever had i think its because they use the Cane sugar and knock off brands use corn syrup there flavors are amazing truly also very good customer service i had a problem with UPS and the guy help me out after his work hours now that's a True American!

There's few things better on a hot day. I bought a cheap one but the consistency is nothing like commercial. I'm looking forward to trying this. $199 isn't an outrageous price, but it puts it up there with one of those things I really want but hard to justify buying lol

does anyone elses snowie 2 move and try to bounce around when it's operating? i need three hands, one to press lid, one to hold cup, and one to hold handle to keep it stable. i did buy a refurbished model though.. maybe that's why?

I'm planning on getting a vendor's booth at the Cowboy trail rides would this be a good machine to start out with? Can it stand making snow cones back-to-back all day? Just trying to get a start until I can afford the bigger one

The Little Snowie is not intended for business use. If used back-to-back on a daily basis you run the risk of burning out the motor on the machine. We recommend the Snowie 1000 to new vendors- it's fast, reliable, durable and worth the investment.

Hi, I ordered a snowie 2 on Amazon and was wondering how syrups worked. I did not know that you also made syrups for the snowie when I ordered and ended up buying syrup from Hawaiian shaved ice. Will it still have the same effect if I do not have your company's syrup?

I am shocked that you were not able to see our syrups when you purchased. That is frustrating for you as well as us and I am sorry that it wasn't more convenient. Yes, you will still be able to use their flavors, but I will tell you that our flavors are amazing and you should give them a try. If/when you are able to try our flavors, give us a shout out and let us know how you like them!

It's a new name, but the same great shaver, with a slight, yet sleeker design modification for broader appeal to adults as well as children.

Great machine. Really want to know if it would work with a block of ice or pieces of ice a little bigger than a regular ice cube???

This will not work with a block of ice. But yes, you can use pretty large cubes. I think we were putting in cubes that were 1.25" x 1.25" and they were working great. As long as the cube can get down onto the paddle wheel, it will work great. It would work even better if you could get a cube that was long, like 1.25" x 1.25" x 2" long, that would work really good.

For cleanliness purposes, we recommend the only thing you put in your Little Snowie is plain ice and add additional flavors, toppings etc. after you shave the ice.

Tempering your ice on the counter for a few minutes before shaving can help if it seems to be sticking to the sides of the machine. When ice is very cold, it can adhere to the plastic, causing it to become "sticky". There's a balance to having ice that is cold enough to shave finely, but not so cold as to stick in the machine.
