I definitely could benefit from this. I always find myself spending first and then going back and covering my overspending by "moving money." In this example we're moving dollars to cover groceries first before spending them vs spending and then covering your tracks. id be lost without these videos

I’m just getting back into the habit of finding the money first, so I put the widget on my phone. So excited for the sense of ease it brings that I can take a glance at my categories and add in real time! The Geo-Payee’s thing!? That sounds so helpful!! Gotta check it out!!

I did _not_ think that through when I initially wrote the script, but definitely discovered the error of my ways when recording the mobile in-app demos. 🤦🏻‍♀ Was hoping nobody would notice that little detail, but I should've known YNABers are far too smart to NOT catch that! 😂 Here's your underwhelming consolation prize! 🏆 🌻 Hannah

Truly up to you! If I felt I could use a little more cushion in groceries in case we needed to run out in a couple more days and grab bananas or peanut butter, I'd leave it in groceries-you can almost never have too much in groceries! But if borrowing money from one of those other categories felt like it'd be cheating that category a bit, I might move it back to haircuts or groceries or whenever I felt it best belonged. All up to you and your current needs or wants! 🌻 Hannah

I have been using YNAB for 2 years and absolutely love it! However, I have been struggling to create a monthly budget recently, so I have been using it more as a spending tracker. I plan to get back to using it for budget management, as it is definitely the best tool.
