it's often overlooked and not something taught to converts, as it's usually taught by parents to children as part of hygiene growing up. i guess being a taboo subject, it isn't mentioned.

there are other hygiene requirements, not sure how much of it you are familiar with. 1) cleaning impurities is always done with left hand. and dealing with clean stuff like eating with right hand. 2) passing wind should be done after moving away from people and not near them 3) water is required for cleaning the bum if available. if water is not available, clean paper, clean stone, is acceptable for wiping. i can't remember the rest of the situations.

That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:- Surah al Nisa 4:157 And if you argue that in Isaiah 9:5 (9:6 in christian bible) the verb וַיִּקְרָ֨א (to call) is passive instead of active¹, this will lead you to leave the fold of Christianity, even the christians dont believe that Jesus is the Father. ¹ i would argue that correct translation will be "... Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father will call him Prince of Peace." Q וַיִּקְרָ֨א can be used as an active verb too

Asalamu Alakum ......The Bismillah and the supplication needs to be said before entering the toilet, not after entering the toilet. We should not mentionAllah's name inside the toilet. Note: If someone forgets to say this supplication, he can say it in heart, even while attending natural's call.

'Abdullah said (farther) : I went up to the roof of the house and saw the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) squatting on two bricks for relieving himself with his face towards Bait-al-Maqdis. Book 2, Number 0510: Abdullah b. Umar said: I went up to the roof of the house of my sister Hafsa and saw the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) relieving himself facing Syria. with his back to the Qibla. Book 2, Number 0511: Abu Qatada reported it from his father: The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: None of you should hold penis with his right hand while urinating, or wipe himself with his right hand in privy and should not breathe into the vessel (from which he drinks)

Rather the Prophet (pbuh) taught and the Quran confirms that Allah is FAR ABOVE His Creation, Above the Universes/7 Heavens, Above the Throne (in a manner that suits his Majesty and Honor and Power). I understand that saydina Mohammad ordered us to use our left hand for cleaning but for women it is hard as our private area is more sensitive to germs, I use both hands, left for back and right front to keep it away from infection. Hope that is okay.

Start with front then clean back Allah knows best and we know nothing compared to Him so we should follow his guidance with utmost care

If you don't know Arabic or can't say/ remember it correctly then say it in your native and most comfortable language, but it is far better to say it in its original language for it is something inspired to our prophet Mohammed SAW like that and Allah knows best.
