The reason I ever hacked was because I was very bad at the game, then I got banned off of Hypixel for blacklisted modifications, then I started watching Hypixel youtubers. One that I can remember was Defib. His trap videos made me care about playing the game legitimately, I had 16 days left from a 30 day ban. Made a appeal. got rejected. Waited. Played for a year. (Am still playing) and haven't hacked sinse.

I used to hack because I wanted to seek revenge on people who hacked to beat me. My logic wasn't really that smart (it was like 2 years ago gimme a break) but people could hack because of frustration. When I first got the game, I rarely won Skywars games, or any games, sending me into rage and giving me the desire to hack. Especially when I would have won but a hacker stole my victory. I haven't hacked since, because I got banned for 30 days and I had to play on other servers... such as Mineplex, which isn't nearly as fun. Personally, I have never hacked in competitive games. I have only ever hacked on online co-op games (Monster Hunter to be specific) and I always go to a different server if someone doesn't want me to play with them. They aren't disruptive to anyone else. One thing I have learned about hacking from hacking is that if can not only ruin the game for others, but also for yourself. You may constantly worry about being banned, rejected be other people, and if you hack in end game items (like I did) if WILL make the game boring for you much, much faster. Basically what I'm saying is, NEVER hack in online PVP games, and while I don't think it's too bad to hack in SOME games where you are working together with all the other players in the game, always be considerate of other players, don't be obnoxious or use disruptive hacks and if they don't want to play with you, don't force them even if you don't think you're disrupting them. And NEVER EVER EVER hack on PVP games. Ever.

I understand what you are saying. I used to see the same thing, I was 5th on the leaderboards for cake wars on mc central at one point; had around 1000 wins. But i quit minecraft recently, and getting back into it i feel like I could start hacking. I justify this by knowing that my ping gives me a great disadvantage on hypixel (I live in New Zealand) And I get pissed of when i can't kill people because of my wifi. (If you think I am making excuses just because I am bad, download a ping spoofer and try 500 ms It is unplayable.)

The thing is, once you find an exploit, you report it, you don't use it for your own benefit until other people notice on their own, because then you get situations like when the NSA found an exploit to backdoor Windows PCs, didn't tell Microsoft so that they could use it, and then hackers found it and made a ransomware with it.

The thing is, whilst pvp is skill based, you do need to have the right equipment to make things easier for you, like a good mouse, keyboard, graphics card and of course internet speed/ping. Personally when I was littler around 13-14 my friend installed a client on my computer showing me how to use it and I thought it was really cool. I didn't think twice about power or anything else, it was just fun which does fall in to entertainment. I didn't really find use in the other things about the client other than night vision and a little help with toggle sneak and aim assist. Eventually I wanted to try and play legit again because I just wasn't having as much fun anymore. So I started trying to use half client half skill to slowly break off because I was so addicted. While in that process of trying to break off I was eventually perm banned and I was kind of mad and frustrated at the server more than myself. but with time I got over it and just stuck to the small 500 player servers I grew up on. I never knew that my ban would come back to effect me in the future. I'm almost seventeen and now, I genuinely regret my mistake. I realized it was more than just saying goodbye to having fun on a server, all the friends I made on there and the relationships I have built I could kiss goodbye. I appealed around maybe six months ago in hopes to come back but I was rejected. Moral of the story: Mistakes you make when you're little may not have effected you then when you got punished but those mistakes can come back to haunt you when you never thought it would.

I hacked for 2 years on a faction server. I used fast break, fast place tracers(for players, chests, spawners), xray, and a lot more where is don't no the name from. I hacked once on hypixel while playing bedwars with my BFF. Every time either me or her saw someone else hack - I would turn on some small hack and try to kill them. Of course, I got banned for a month and I wasn't at all sad or annoyed because I knew that what I did was wrong even if I used them on other hackers. I don't want to ruin others experience and make people angry, I just wanted to help but failed since hacks like "killaura" doesn't target one person - making it obvious and killing mostly innocent players. I remember one time i was playing bedwars (legitimately) and i was getting alot of kills, specifically against this one guy on the blue team. he wasnt toxic in chat or anything, so i just thought they were new and learning the game. eventually, it was late game and i was stalling for time because my team was dead. that guy and me were the last two people in the game, with me stalling on a diamond island and him on a bridge i kept blocking off from him. he eventually got so frustrated he turned on fly, anti knockback, and gave himself ridiculous killaura, flew right to me and killed me. i guess some people hack out of rage too.

the answer to the videos question seems to be in most cases entertainment, and is easy to understand. the main problem is many people care a lot more about winning there games then others. if you don't see winning games as important, then cheating doesn't seem as bad. it seems more of a twist then unfair. beacus im not good at the game and try to win less and see hackers as cool rather then cruel. when I play im usually more defensive and if I can I would have everyone on an alliance and would then just mess around.

Blatant cheating is all about having fun, closet cheating is for making people think you are better than you actually are. Hacking is something way different from cheating in a block game. Hypixel is one of the worst at stopping cheats. Watchdog is a joke, the only thing stopping cheats is nocheatplus, which they dont even update and they have a really bad config for. You can download a free client, like liquid bounce for example, and cheat without getting autobanned. The funny thing is that every single youtuber that tries to 'check if watchdog is good' uses either huzuni or wurst, the 2 worst and most outdated cheats ever, alongside a bad config.

Many people play Minecraft solely for anarchy servers like 2b2t.org. these are servers where there are no rules, so naturally most players have a hack client. The only good reason to hack is for special utility reasons. FutureClient provides a variety of options, including freecam for cinematics and a friends system so you don't misidentify enemies. In a combat situation, you are definitely in the wrong, but other times hacks aren't that big of a deal. There's no good hack that makes building easier, and ESP can be used to locate friends. They're also useful for fighting other, less noble, hackers. For servers like 2b2t, having hacks is like owning a gun IRL. If you dont have it, then you're vulnerable to everyone who does. However, hacking is something that gives you a definitive advantage over everyone else and should not be encouraged, as it sucks the fun out of the game for everyone involved.

tbh. I say hacking is OK along as the hacks aren't being used to overpower the enemy. For example, x-raying diamonds on a factions server isn't too much of an issue as most major fights happen with fully maxed gear either way and there is really only so much you can do with diamonds. But x-raying peoples bases on a faction or x-raying to know location of player, I agree, should not be allowed. For Me it depends on the reason behind the hack.

The only type of hackers i don't like are closet hackers that get super friendly with the staff and rat out other hackers without getting caught themselves as it fuels their ego every time someone gets banned over super iffy circumstances as this happened to my friend. We were on a factions server flying around with the faction fly plugin when we get knocked out of fly his tracers goes off and he stops grinding they guy who came to the base was another hacker who had a tp into our tp glitch layer. He had an admin in v with him who at the time had no idea they guy was hacking. My friend watched him out of the corner of his screen as he was staring right at him though the wall even when he was crouched. Well apparently my friend was acting "suspicious" because he stopped grinding even though we knew someone was here because said getting knocked out of fly. The admin screen shared him and banned him not after him telling the admin that that guy was hacking. A day goes by the server was dieing because trash staff and bad updates so i said to one of the admins hey dipshit this anti cheat is trash and i can prove to you that guy was hacking so i loaded up matix started flying around not before that guy started screaming hacker when i was way up in the sky at spawn and you could see me due to me not being rendered but still in tracer range. Those are the people that i hate.

I justify hacking by not having an opinion. The only word I associate hacking with is "bannable." I will say that the hacking to prevent hacking and saying hackers are selfish is just bull shit. I don't care about stats, It's all just a game.

Similar to "hacking to stop hacking" ONE of the reasons i hack is because of the frustration of other hackers. Also it's very easy to hack on hypixel without getting caught.

If I was to hack, my excuse would be that everyone else gets away with hacking and ruins my experience, hacking is the only way I can find enjoyment in a game, which to be fair in most games (specifically console) that is a reasonable excuse.
