Have been watching quite a few of these videos in the last day and have to say I am impressed by how unopinionated your are, you just find someone interesting and let them talk, without any apparent agenda from you beyond more knowledge and understanding and I have to say it is very refreshing. From a distance people tend to view Israel in somewhat simplistic terms depending on where their sympathies lie but your reports from the front line show it to be a much more nuanced and complex picture than we see on our TV screens. I feel for this guy. His opinions and life experiences are so extremely valid. With that being said, the reason Isr now claims the golan heights is because Syria along with Egypt decided on Yom Kippur to attack and concur Israel... and they lost. It was a risk taken on behalf of Syrian gov and unfortunately people have to suffer. However, the blame is not on Israel to defend its self nor are they expected to give back the land they claimed in a defensive war. Just my opininon. Great vids
@elliotberger53882 жыл бұрын
@Masha Scream Hello Miss. Im not here to get into an argument about the conflict, I was simply stating my opinion. However, Since 1967, Israel has relinquished control of well over 90% of the territories it captured in the Six Day War, including the entire Sinai Peninsula, the whole of the Gaza Strip and large portions of Judea and Samaria (west bank). If you ask me. Israel is one of the first countries in history to be forced by the UN to give up land it gained in a defensive war meaning (their neighbors attacked them first). Whether you agree with me or not. I do not really care. Enjoy your evening. :)
