Have been watching quite a few of these videos in the last day and have to say I am impressed by how unopinionated your are, you just find someone interesting and let them talk, without any apparent agenda from you beyond more knowledge and understanding and I have to say it is very refreshing. From a distance people tend to view Israel in somewhat simplistic terms depending on where their sympathies lie but your reports from the front line show it to be a much more nuanced and complex picture than we see on our TV screens. Thank you great job

I picked apples on Kibbutz Sasa and cotton in the Hula valley back in 1977. The first time I saw Druze security walking around the kibbutz at night, I thought Syria was invading (LOL) and had an Israeli explain to me that Druze were our friends.

not that sure if the "Syrian" Druze (as opposed to Israeli Druze" despite the far better life in all ways "love" the Jews. I suppose they have been, like in Gaza, PA, & Jordan etc indoctrinated.

This reminds me of so many situations traveling on a budget and meeting nice people showing me around. It is also very nice to get access to places I would never see otherwise. Nowadays I live a sedentary life with a day job and a family so its nice to get to see the places I would like to visit from my bed. I've met many nice Israelis on the road and some of my closest friends at work are Palestinians from Jordan and Syria. What can I say it feels like you are an old friend and I hope to keep you company through these videos.

I feel for this guy. His opinions and life experiences are so extremely valid. With that being said, the reason Isr now claims the golan heights is because Syria along with Egypt decided on Yom Kippur to attack and concur Israel... and they lost. It was a risk taken on behalf of Syrian gov and unfortunately people have to suffer. However, the blame is not on Israel to defend its self nor are they expected to give back the land they claimed in a defensive war. Just my opininon. Great vids

@Masha Scream Hello Miss. Im not here to get into an argument about the conflict, I was simply stating my opinion. However, Since 1967, Israel has relinquished control of well over 90% of the territories it captured in the Six Day War, including the entire Sinai Peninsula, the whole of the Gaza Strip and large portions of Judea and Samaria (west bank). If you ask me. Israel is one of the first countries in history to be forced by the UN to give up land it gained in a defensive war meaning (their neighbors attacked them first). Whether you agree with me or not. I do not really care. Enjoy your evening. :)

With all due respect, Assad of Syria had little regard of the druze minority and decided to abandoned them instead of exchanging golan heights for a peace treaty with Israel, taking back its territory and also the people that identify themselves as Syrians....

Im not saying what the Israeli government done with the golan heights after the war was 'nice' but the land was for Israel the spoils of war, after all it was Syria that kicked the conflict off, the victor taking land from the vanquished used to be the way things used to be done but not so much nowerdays, in history in school we were told Israel took the land as a bargaining chip in case of future political issues.
