Thank u sir , while i overhauled and boxed back i found opening press is less while press testing, added shim got a slight increase ,sir how the opening press got reduced after overhauling which was working fine on engine and sir is there any limit of no of shims to add Thank u so much sir

@@vaiz389 1. Why after overhauling pressure drop when compared to before ? a. After cleaning , dirt which trapped between cut - off shaft and spindle guide will be removed , due to which good chance oil escape from the gap [ between the cut-off shaft and spindle guide] b. Another good reason in case cut-off shaft smoothen [ for overhauling purpose] then gap between the cut - off shaft and spindle will increase, due that also oil will escape from gap c. While boxing after overhauling good chance, any dirt trapped in between the sealing surface. 2. How many sims can be added in fuel injector? a. Mostly adding sims should be limited two or three - reason if spring is week and if keep on adding sims, then spring lifting height will be very less due which good chance of spring breaking during engine running condition and will cause major damage , it’s always recommended to renew the spring as per maker given running hours interval. I beleive this answer shud satisfy your queries..
