Pile 2: It is slow moving, but I agree that she wouldn’t invest in me at all if she wasn’t interested in more. She recently confessed her love for me, but she did experience a breakup last year, so she’s been careful moving forward . Past relationships have moved really fast for me, so a slower pace is something I’m open to.

I always choose pile 3 and man! Did this resonate so much! We are old friends from when we were in our 20s. Unfortunately we found each other while living 1400 miles apart. Over the past 3 year have dated off and on and even when we weren’t dating we still stayed in communication. When we have disagreements I always think, that’s it! We’re done! This is how we say goodbye. But nope! He always returns and he always returns first. We decided to reassess where our relationship is at by year end to see how we move forward. I can’t move due to my son being in high school until next year and his job is tied to where he lives. Once my son graduates I’ll be able to move if that’s where we’re at, at that time.

#2 yes, we were married. I divorced him a very difficult man always wanted things his way a big eagle. There’s a lot of stuff that he has to work through addictions alcohol casino so I had to divorce him. Thank you for your reading honestly I want him to do better, everybody deserves to do better. I married him for a reason because I love him. I still have feelings for him but it’s impossible to live with a person and a whole Lotta baggage. Thank you.

Pile 2, & no I don't think I can ever trust him again. Very correct on him not wanting a relationship. Still thought he felt more tho than let on, but guess it really was only se* he wanted, and even as just being there for that... When he went Valentine's night to do that with another girl, right after I'd been there overnight with him and left midmorning on Valentine's Day well... That cut pretty deep. & That hurt too much this time, plus he's just been unkind and cruel again after my telling him what I felt happened and him admitting it. I can't, I just can't anymore. No trust left. Not willing to risk letting him back in to use me and hurt me again in any way.

Unfortunately, that’s part of the problem cycle. Where I’m supposed to let go of the past leave it in the past let them do what they’re gonna do and then restart over and over again where they don’t have to be accountable for the past.
