I agree survivors should be able to 4man queue in the higher ranks. Not only would it make hunter harder and more interesting it will also be more fun for survivors :D

Survivors used to be able to do this and no that is incorrect 4 man vcs are very difficult to combat and I’ve been playing the game since season 8 and now that they’ve changed it rank has been very balanced cause before 4 man vcs used to combat many hunters such as dream and etc at most playing against a 4man vc you can get a tie other than that it’s very difficult for any hunters to win and etc and it’s just so much more balanced now that’s it only 2 man vc but I’m not saying it’s impossible but it’s just with 4man vcs it just destroys so many aspects of the game and how you need to play but 4 man vcs would be nice to have if the idv devs could balance out and chnage many other things in the game

@@magic_edits9524 I understand your concern. I’m also an early player (season 1). But like Zeus mentioned, allowing survivors to 4man would better help balance the characters since both competitive play and rank play would be using the 4man team comps. Yes 4man is without a doubt more difficult but that would be a refresher since high tier rank is undeniably getting easier. The only time I feel I need to pay 100% attention is early season when the high tiers can actually 4man, after that high tier ranking gets somewhat unsatisfying. This is just my experience in the NAEU server and I don’t actually think 4man high tier will be implemented into the game at least anytime soon but I wouldn’t be upset if it did.

a lot of people would complain about 4 man being available in higher tiers but as a hunter main all it does is giving you more to work with in terms of improvement. Cuz if youre only going against survs who lose because of communication mistakes, youre gonna get skill capped, at least imo. It better to lose against a team who knows how to play and review what u couldve done. Opposed to when i get an ego when i win being sloppy bc a surv didnt read pings to transition 💀 - This could be seen as more situational but in theory if youre in the same tier area as the survs your up against, you should be able to at least tie against them using a counter pick. Like how u said in this coa’s meta, its so balanced that it actually rely’s on the skill of the hunter and survs on whether the draw game can turn into a loss or win - i think this type of game at least in high/peak tier rank would be cool comp wise since if ur ranking that high ur most likely taking the game as serious as comp anyway 🤷‍♀️ Another thing is i think Solo que in general should be less normalized. A lot of mid tiers dont know the game as well as they should for their tier (cough, griffin & ali’s not knowing spawn points, cough) I think if idv implemented a better ranking together system for randoms it could help solve a lot of the miscommunication in survs: Bc the more u play with the same ppl the easier it is. (in theory) - But this also might be more of a na/eu problem of drooling over skins in rank instead of learning and getting better. sorry for the essay, prbly said a few dumb takes in there but whatever LMAO

Honestly I don’t agree with 4 person comps because 4 man vcs destroy so many hunters that require the mistakes made by players to allow them to capitalize but now due to haveing only 2 man vc per player it makes the game more balanced I fear especially with a coa team such as B4U existing in comp.

For the not knowing part: imo i think the game should punish point earning more, i am at Mammoth because i won so many matches in elk with friendly hunters, how will i learn to kite and actual play the game without a hunter doing his job? The end is 10 matches with 12k points best deduction for everyone but the hunter and a surrendered game by this Hunter, Welcome to Mammoth tier... Then there are normal hunters that kill half off the team in 2 second after you kited like 90 second against the same Hunter. Tbh the friendly hunters are those ruin so much fun, at least for me, because they help to rank up ppl that do not belong in high tiers.

Honestly, Cyclops is more stressful for hunters than peak tier is. Like, Photographer is literally more viable in peak tier than Cyclops because of the fact that tier 6 have area selection and can be in 4 man teams, whereas peak tier only lets you be in 2 man teams and area selection mode. It just makes me sad because Photographer would just absolutely be destroyed in peak tier if 4 man teams were allowed, but since that isn't the case the devs just... don't buff him at all because "he has a decent winrate across all ranks".

7:58 how do we actually know this? like was their an announcement that "due to the incredible performance of batter in the finals we will nerf him" or coincidentally batter may have been performing really well in rank and tournament players pick this up and decided to use him in COA? 🤔

It’s kinda unfair to high tier survs to take away their opportunity to communicate with the team properly, esp considering it’s a “competitive”game and that’s champ and peak tier we’re talking abt. It’s like making survs in tourneys play with 2 complete strangers instead of their own teammates to make it easier for hunters to win. It’d be okayish if NE made more useful pings + decrease cd for pings to make up for loss of vc but instead we have shit like “sorry”, “you’re on your own” etc.

4:40 for clarification because I was the one commented on that 😅 I was wondering is their a tier list that is base on win rate on rank matches not tourneys because I would assume the numbers are much higher and statistically would be a better bases for analysis than opinion based tier list.

I think they need to look at the average of ALL servers. China server will not give you a balanced enough game. I don’t understand not being able to 4 man at higher levels. That’s how our CoAs get played. So if that’s how pro teams play that’s how other people should be able to play in rank matches. Now if you say well it’s too broken, then I think that’s a clear indication that they need to work on how solo players interact with and play with the game and balancing. And like Zeus said they need a consistent way to judge characters for nerfing-buffing.
