Cut them off. I made this mistake before and let me tell you I was caught in some sort of pseudo friendship crush spiral. Distance is the key to healing. If they don't see you how you want them to then why stick around even further and risk falling in love with them? Save yourself the trouble and move on while you can. ⁠Personally, I have realized that rejecting friendship because we may have feelings for those who reject us is a total waste of time and energy. If someone rejects you as a friend, then that is their loss. Especially when you haven’t really wronged them. It is extremely rare to choose to be the person who never forgets but who forgives those who rejected them. In fact, I rejected my husband for years before we ended up being married and yet he remained my ever faithful platonic friend without expecting anything more just as he has with his other ex’s who also moved on. Eventually, I came to realize his humble sincerity and genuineness and that appealed to me far more than any confidence or knowledge. Long story short, eleven years later we finally are married and on our second wedding anniversary. We are okay with our ex’s being our platonic only friends and who have also moved on and married as well. I personally have no animosity towards those who rejected me romantically and in the wisdom of the wisest man of all, God/Jesus, I choose to love my neighbor and forgive my enemies. Life is too short to unjustly enemies of those who reject us or who we reject or to be unforgiving. I know what I say is unpopular but hey, we all grow. I did. :)

Brian Chill I did that to my sister friend she got me ticket to go see monster jam only what I love is to watch in person is big trucks goofing around in mud so I didn’t went because they rejected me lots of time so it payback

I told my guy friend that I like him,and it was few months ago.I told him that I don’t wanna be his friend anymore,he said that we know each other for so long(6years) and that we should keep hanging out ,but after that night he never text me and our friendship is over.We will say hello to each other,maybe talk when we are together,but I lost him.Right now it is painful,not because of rejection but because of friendship,sometimes I thought that our friendship wasn’t real bc he didn’t put any effort to save him.I’m so sad and rly don’t know what to do I’m really trying to move on but it is so hard.I hope that somebody can tell me some advice,what should I do? #tnx❤️

Why should he work to save yourd friendship? He offered you more and get rejected, in his dignity he cant come to you as frirnd. you rejected him, so if you wanted "save" friendship, you should work on it more. not him

I always get rejected by my sister friend’s sister because they only take my sister go to places like eating they went to more like beach in Arizona there was one more space they never ask me if I want to come and back in 2017 I got rejected by my dad, my sister and their friends because that time I have summer school so they went to Washington state without me and yes I actually cried.
