I had someone ask me how I don't get burnt out reselling. I told him it's because I love what I do. I think if anyone is burnt out reselling they simply need to find a new career. Do something you love to do then you never get burnt out.

Exactly!! It's the same as avoiding burnout at any job. Do what you love and it will never FEEL like work. That being said, an occasional day off often helps too.

I love what I do as a nurse but get burnt out. It's a high-stress level job (like police, FF, EMTs, etc). I do not think I need to find a new career, again I LOVE what I do. However, I do think it's a matter of taking time off and taking a break to re-energize and take time for yourself and your wellbeing.

I resell FT and burnout can definitely happen. I have to draw some boundaries and set time for other things in my life. I also schedule vacation time a couple times a year. When I go on vacation I shut my eBay store down and do not allow sales at all. I will go out sourcing while on vacation though because that’s the fun part but will do absolutely nothing else resell related.

For me personally to avoid burnout I have started doing all my photos for the week of listing on one day then I sit down that afternoon/evening to draft them. Then a few days of sourcing that week. That way by the time Im out of that weeks photos its been about 6 days since I did that work and im excited to get back to photoing and drafting! And while im out sourcing I dont have that "need to list" quilt and can enjoy it

Poshmark sharing and such IS silliness. ABSOLUTE silliness. But I sell clothes almost exclusively and my weekly Poshmark sales are catching up to my ebay sales...I guess because I participate in the silliness... but I pay for a subscription service to do all the silliness for me and that has helped sales tremendously.

I have been selling on Poshmark for a while. I think the idea behind sharing is that it gets more eyes on your listing and potentially more sales. I can't say for sure if it really makes a difference or not. I don't really have the time to worry about sharing so I don't do it. The resale of clothing is not what it used to be and the market is flooded with clothing resellers so I don't really think it makes a difference if you share or not. Most people when they want to buy something they are specifically searching for that item and not just buying something because they see it come up on their feed.

Sooo.... are you saying that it is okay to change the shipping choices after the item has been purchased? I was under the impression that if the purchaser chose ground advantage or you list an item where you chose ground advantage, you can change that after the item has been purchased and you won't get dinged by eBay or the customer? The reason I ask is because if the initial shipping method was ground advantage and you ship it media mail, that could be cheaper but it could also take longer to get there with media mail. When I sold years ago I did all listing and wife did closure and shipping. She got tired of it...I should have shown her how to list! Stay close to weather news and look out for East side tornados formation from hurricane...it gets wild sometime. The last one through Texas sprung a lot in North Louisiana....
