2E, you just need to buy all the diesel parts needed for the conversion. @BearBoris here on youtube did boxer to GTI conversion.

I have a petrol 1.9dg and would love to do this. How much in total and including everything. My 1.9dg is averaging 16mpg. Cant do a european trip as to expensive. New to vw classic ownership
