How Do You Equalise in a Full Face Mask?

When cave diving I don't use a snorkel, however with most of my ocean dives being shore dives, I wear a snorkel. 1. It's more pleasant to snorkel to the dive site face down to see to underwater world. 2. If something out of the ordinary happens and low gas is a factor, then there are scenarios where a snorkel could be an advantage. So, overall to me... I'd rather have a snorkel in open water situations.

FYI, the Suunto EON Steel and Black give you the option of up to 10 gasses, should you need that many....

#Ask mark.. I have been diving for 15 years 10 years as a commercial diver.. I recently lost my left hand and part of my arm in a accident.. trying to get back into recreational diving i'm getting some push back from some dive operators not letting me dive saying that I would need a dive master to dive with me because I would not be able to perform a self rescue. What do you think???

I have a poseidon se7en rebreather, but I've only dove it for my class. Can I utilize any of the equipment for open circuit dives? (Bcd) It is so hard to find closed-circuit dive buddies. #askmark

i'm surprised no ones invented a collapsible snorkle. if you think about those collapsible cups where you push down and it shrinks. you can carry it on the side of your mask and extend it when you need too. there would be no drag and when you reach for your inflator you wouldn't grab your snorkel, same feel.

What's your philosophy on calling a (buddy) dive? I realize, like me, you probably already have an established network of dive buddies - where you're both familiar with each other's dive style, experienced, and therefore less likely to call a dive. This question is more as advice for viewers who end up with insta-buddies.
