You're genuine and that's a big part of why you're connecting with people on KZbin. Then there's your content which addresses a void for musicians or just the curious that no one else has thought to address. Congratulations.

Love your content fan of Nashville and a church drummer. You should use your channel to inform young musicians to stay away from drinking and drugs. Sadly I watched a group in Nashville accept drinks from the crowd and in an hour they went from really talented to sounding like a garage band.

Obviously being a good guitar player comes first, but there are loads of good guitar players. So maybe being a good dude and making it easy to work with you. Is slightly more important then how good of a musician you are. Love the vids!

Tim, I never got passed playing my acoustic in my college dorm with the guys. Music is part of my soul and I’ve fantasized playing professionally on stage. You are so humble, honest and sincere. It comes through so clear on your videos and it’s a big contributor to your success as an artist and networking. I live in NJ where it is illegal to pump your own gas. There is an attendant at every station. I always tip a dollar and it’s always so appreciated. I respond, “Imagine if everyone tipped just a dollar, how much of a difference that would make.” Are you familiar with Joe Robinson? He has a KZbin channel and plays live for an hour each week. He is an amazing talent and he has a virtual tip jar that he professionally promotes a couple of times each session. I’m glad it’s there so I can show my appreciation and encouragement. You’re are on your way my friend. Keep doing you!

Tim you are like the most interesting man commercial. Love listening to you. Been playing for forty years, last 25 in a couple bands. I always wondered what it would take to play in Nashville. Just never had kahunas to try, or guitar talent. But you are doing a fantastic job of describing it. Thanks and keep it up for all us wondering folks.

John, I'm right there with you, been playing (bass) forever and always wondered what it's like down there. Hooked up with some guys up here, played quite a bit last summer, and I want to play more. I recently lost my job up here, mentioned to my guitarist that I should just move to Nashville and try to play there, he sent me one of Tim's videos, and I'm loving watching them and I'm looking for my "kahunas" to head down there!

Just discovered your videos this morning and they have been terribly encouraging. I am retiring from the Army and moving to Nashville in a few months. As much as anything, I am excited by the sheer volume of musicians, coming from a relatively rural area. I really want to find people to play bass with and for, so this is exactly the sort of thing I needed to see. Thank you for all of the stuff you have shared with us.

I agree with the comments that this is great - a real person telling all of us, who haven't tried it, what it is like to actually try it. Great job! AS A TOPIC SUGGESTION: I would LOVE to hear more about how you prep for short notice gigs. At one point in this video you said you had a 45 song set request on a Tuesday for a Friday gig. My big problem is song memorization. If I could chart out the songs (at least w/ the number system), and have a stand on stage - sure, no problem! But my memory is TERRIBLE. I would have to turn down the gig simply b/c there's no way I could memorize that many songs in that little time. Any tips or tricks?? Thanks!

Hey Tim really enjoyed your video, this stuff is so interesting to me even though I'm 65 this is stuff people are wanting to hear! Like I said "when you was live" I mentioned when I was younger I submitted songs to MCA Record Co and they did call but I lost my kids in a divorce, it was really hard time and I never got back to them. Of course I wish I would have and then all the sudden when I was ready at that time they quit taking submissions of demo's from the public you just really had to have connections to get your songs heard! Well life moved on I am thinking of moving to Nashville and becoming an Indy Artist, I have all the time in the world and tons of songs I think are extremely good, I mean MCA wanted them back then and I have written a lot since then! I really love what your doing and who knows maybe I'll meet you someday, keep on doing what your doing!!👍👍
