Thanks for sharing. The best guide about a day trip from Zurich to Vaduz.

This is helpful. The automat was easy to understand. We normally approach Vaduz from the buses at the Feldkirch station in Austria, as we live in Austria. It was good to see, where the Bus stops are based on the perspective of the tracks, which are adjacent to the bus bay. It was good to see that. In Feldkirch we have to enter the station and then exit to the street side and look for the bus bay on the right, as one exits. Thanks for including the Sargans version. For the tourist with train passes from Switzerland or those, who have Eurail or Interrail passes, the trains to/from Sargans, Buchs, Feldkirch and Schaan. Only the Swiss rail pass includes the Liechtensteiner buses, whereas the other nations' rail passes are not valid on the buses in the principality. A day card for all national buses now costs about $13, but that's all day on all bus routes in the country. Hey, did you notice, whether any merchants in Vaduz still sell post cards and souvenirs? The grocery supplies before arriving are a great idea. We'll likely eat prior to arriving and then once again, when we're back in Switzerland.

Awesome guide, I'm just back from Liechtenstein, definitely worth a quick visit. I'd recommend stocking up in Austria, much cheaper than both Liechtenstein and Switzerland 😆 the hiking trails are awesome, not a great deal else to do there really

Thanks for the really useful info! We're travelling from Zurich Airport to Vaduz later this year. Do you know how to buy a train and bus ticket combined?
@primetraveltime3 ай бұрын
I don't but the cost savings isn't huge. I went with peace of mind so I didn't really worry about the cost difference. You could ask at the ticket counter at the station. But if that doesn't work you'll be ok

Nice and so informative video. Are there any special places to visit in Vaduz from your point of view?
@primetraveltime Жыл бұрын
Sorry for the delayed reply. There are a couple museums and the castle. You can go outside Vaduz to wineries and another castle as well. But you can do Vaduz in a day v if you go early and don't want to stay overnight.

@@primetraveltime Thank you very much for your reply. Actually, I was attending a conference (I am from Australia) in Portugal and thought to visit Vaduz. And I did it two months ago just watching and taking info from your video. I would say it is one of the best places I have been. Really nice surrounding, a wealthy city covered with snowy mountains. I really like the winery atmosphere from the city center to the castle. What a country indeed! Grateful to you!

Tips for travelling from munich to vaduz?
@primetraveltimeАй бұрын
I'd download the DB Navigator app. It's the German rail company app but has everything on it and you can purchase tickets directly in the app. I think 3 1/2 to 4 hours by train or you can fly to Zurich first.

What was the bus you used to get back to Sargans? Was it at the same stop?
@primetraveltime5 ай бұрын
Yes. Also you want to get off at Vaduz Post when you are going to town. There are a few Vaduz stops but that's the city center. You can go from that stop back to Sargans on the 11 or 12E.

Do they accept euros on the bus from Sargans to Vaduz?
@primetraveltime5 ай бұрын
Yup! You can pay the driver directly. They also take credit card on the bus. It's slightly more expensive than buying at a bus desk but we didn't want the hassle. It's like 50 cents more to pay on the bus.
